Since the outbreak of European Sovereign Debt Crisis, the EU countries, and even the world nations, have been affected by it. The global economy slumps into a low tide once again. European Union is the biggest trading partner of China and China is the second biggest trading partner of European Union. They have high complementarity in trading and their trade contacts have a significant impact on mutual economic development. Now, China’s export trade to EU is affected by European Sovereign Debt Crisis in a certain extent. How does the transmission channel transmit and affect China’s economic growth, and what the measures should be taken to deal with it are all the questions that we pay close attention to.The core center of this research is that European Sovereign Debt Crisis affects China’s export trade to EU by transmission of demand, and then it affects China’s economic development. As a footplate, China’s export to EU connects two bridges closely. One bridge is European Sovereign Debt Crisis’s influence on China’s export trade to EU, the other one is the influence of China’s export trade to EU on China’s economic growth. European Sovereign Debt Crisis’s influence on China’s export trade to EU is mainly researched by the transmission path of demand. The research method of these two parts is combined empirical analysis and descriptive analysis. In this way, it could get the results of transmission of demand’s influence on China’s export to EU and the influence of China’s export trade to EU on China’s economic growth during the time of European Sovereign Debt Crisis. As to the method of empirical analysis, this paper does not choose the time quantum of European Sovereign Debt Crisis directly to make empirical analysis like the other literature usually do. This paper makes longtime empirical analysis by using almost twenty-five years’ data and descriptive analysis during the time of European Sovereign Debt Crisis to get the conclusion indirectly. This paper mainly analyzes the relation among the demand of EU, China’s export to EU and China’s economic growth from macroscopic perspective. China-EU trade complementarity, which is the internal basis of China-EU trade strategic partnership, is an important joint point in analyzing EU countries’current economic condition and the current condition of China’s export trade to EU. European Sovereign Debt Crisis objectively caused China’s export trade in slow increasing, aggravated trade friction and etc. Meanwhile, the current economic conditions of EU countries, including demand condition of EU in this paper’s analysis, have great importance in improving the current condition of China’s export trade to EU. On the basis of theoretical foreshadowing, empirical analysis and descriptive analysis relatively, this paper reaches the final conclusion.During the time of European Sovereign Debt Crisis, China’s export trade to EU is the reason that China’s economy grows and it has a positive impetus. Therefore, to improve the condition of China’s export trade to EU is to promote China’s economic growth. The demand of transmission path during the time of European Sovereign Debt Crisis is really existed. The change of EU’s demand has equidirectional moving with the change of China’s export trade to EU on the whole. The scant demand of EU is the reason why its pulling function to China’s export trade is receded. Therefore, during the time of European Sovereign Debt Crisis, it is important to evade and improve the condition of EU’s scant demand so that it could promote China’s economic growth. In the end, in order to change the condition of China’s export trade to EU, which is caused by the scant demand of EU, this paper put forward proposals to evade or improve it from government level and enterprise level. Finally, these proposals may change the condition of China’s export trade so that it could reach the target of promoting China’s economic growth.
