China’s economy is experiencing profound changes. Negative reports about private steel trade enterprises in recent years have drawn close attention from CCTV’s Half-Hour Economy, large commercial banks and federations of industry and commerce throughout the country. In contrast to the general recession in iron&steel production and trade, Baiying Iron&Steel Group (Baiying Group) comes out with impressive financial statements.2012witnesses the internationalized and escalating competition in China’s auto markets. Along with the bankruptcy of a large number of small and medium private steel trade companies, all enterprises now have to measure success by management level. To be more specific, it is time for Chinese enterprises to strive for "management property" and "intellectual property" instead of "speculative property". How does Baiying Group earn its "management fortune"? The author names the topic as:"Study on Terminal Service Mode of Steel for Autos of Baiying Group", so as to raise the terminal service mode of steel for autos of Baiying Group to the level of experience summary and theory, providing a successful case of effective cooperation among auto industry, iron&steel industry and logistics industry on steel for autos in China.Based on analysis in this paper, the author has identified the terminal service mode of steel for autos of Baiying Group. In Baiying Group, this mode works to unite the thoughts and helps regulate operations so as to further improve the competitive edge of the enterprise; in the industry, the mode provides materials for mutual learning and reference for improving the overall level of private steel trade enterprises; and outside the industry, it provides the government, capital market and automobile industry with a basis to better understand and support the development of Baiying Group. In this paper, the author adopts the concept of five strategic factors (ECSRE) proposed by strategic management Professor James Fredrickson. All these five factors should be taken into consideration in strategy formulation and adjustment, while in strategic decision analysis of an enterprise, we basically follow the C3E strategic analysis of Professor Chen Mingzhe, i.e. to make the best decision by analyzing customers, competitors, the enterprise itself and main operating environment of the enterprise. This paper concludes through analysis and study that:In concept, terminal service mode of steel for autos of Baiying Group reinforces the agent system, emphasizes specialty and step up win-win cooperation among enterprises on the industrial chain. This is identical with the management philosophy of related Japanese enterprises. In operation, it is independent from iron&steel producers, reinforces integration of resources inside and outside the enterprise, the industry and China, and cuts in the research and development of materials for automobile manufacturers. This is in line with US Iron&Steel Service Center. It is found from this paper that Baiying Group has developed from an iron&steel trader into an industrial service provider for automobile manufacturers. Its terminal service mode of steel for autos focuses on supply chain management centering on brand operation, and it believes the details determine the results in daily operation. Aiming at creating value for customers, meeting requirements of customers and outperforming customers’expectations, the mode of Baiying Group wins out in practical service philosophy and effective process and performance management. While conducting analysis for this paper, the author also comprehensively sorted out the operation strategies of Baiying Group and defined its strategic position:Baiying Group specializes in steel products for autos, primarily offers terminal services of steel for autos, and aims to become the "LV" brand of the steel trade industry.
