A Study On The Trade Effect Of China - ASEAN Free Trade Area

With the implementation of the information globalization, the speed of economic globalization has further accelerate, regional economic cooperation is also increasing closely, many countries have by choosing to participate in regional economic cooperation to maintain and strengthen the economic and trade relations with neighboring countries or regions, to promote the development of domestic economy and trade, so cause the creation of more regional economic groups, China-ASEAN free trade area also arises at the historic moment. As the completely composed of developing countries and is the biggest free trade area in the present world, the establishment of china-ASEAN free trade area is bound to have significant influence on the existing world order, the development of Asian economy and the world economy will have immeasurable role and influence.On January1,2010by China and ASEAN countries of China-ASEAN free trade area built formally, regional economic integration organizations as China’s first participation and give priority to with developing countries, with a population of1.9billion, the GDP of nearly (?)6trillion, when the free trade area was built, a huge boost to the economy development of China and ASEAN countries. But, on the basis of the increasingly competitive actual market and there are both cooperation and competition between China and ASEAN countries, the development status of china-asean free trade area and whether ASEAN can bring economic growth for countries of the free trade area and the development trend in the future and policy selection are related to the focus of scholars,and these problems are also the research object of this article.In this paper, based on the analysis of the predecessors’ research summary and the relevant theory knowledge of regional economic integration, trade status quo of China-ASEAN free trade area as the starting point, and have analyses of the trade competitive and complementary in bilateral trade Of the actual, draw relevant conclusions. Lastly, this paper has an analysis on trade of China-ASEAN free trade area from the perspectives of tariff reduction, degree of Integration, trade competitiveness and intra-industry trade and puts forward the countermeasures and Suggestions.I will be on the basis of the related theories of regional economic integration, by using research method of Combining with theoretical analysis and empirical analysis In this paper, With the aid of available data, through relevant charts and data, and then have researches and analysis for the Bilateral trade situation of China and the ASEAN free trade area,and and emphatically analyzes the trade effect of the establishment of china-ASEAN free trade area, and what policy will be choosed by china under the background of the construction of china-ASEAN free trade area is nearing the end of the second stage, and to enter the third stage.
