| With the development of economic globalization, the logistics upsurge warms up continuously, the competition is fiercing gradually. As the important logistics point of the modern society and function sets of the modern logistics, the distribution center plays an important role in the development of modern society. But the high cost of the distribution center is always the key problem which restricts the development of enterprises. How to optimize the total cost of distribution center on the premise of maintaining the service level has become the key to solve the problem.Based on studying the theory and thinking method of TOC, this article put the distribution center as the research object and departed the thesis into four parts:warehousing cost, sorting cost, distribution cost and management cost, then applied the Theory of Constraints in distribution center cost. On the premise of ensuring the service level, achieved the cost control of distribution center, then took Guiyang tobacco logistics distribution center for instance, verified the feasibility of TOC.The paper mainly contains three parts: the first part overviewed the theory related to distribution center and its cost, and introduced TOC in the distribution center environment. The second part contracted the optimization model of distribution center cost through TOC, mainly based on deeply analysis of the cost influence factors of Chinese distribution center, applied thinking process to optimize the bottleneck problem, and used the Five Focusing Steps to optimize continuously, then reached the goal of controlling distribution center cost. The third part was the empirical analysis, applied TOC to Guiyang tobacco logistics distribution center cost.Use Saving Algorithm Method to control the distribution cost, and use Safety Inventory Method to control the storage cost, combine the method of Picking Fruit and Planting to control the sorting cost, then make the Standard Operation Mechanism to control the management cost and so on. The series of measures proved the significant effects of TOC on applying to the distribution center cost control. |
