Trade benefits is the fundamental starting point and purpose of all countries involved in the international specialization and international trade. The structure of international specialization determines the distribution of trade interests.Since the 1960 s, the international specialization has undergone profound changes, and the global value chains have developed greatly. Developing countries participated in the global value chains in the low part of such specialization, mainly in the form of processing trade. It not only brings a significant impact and opportunities to developing countries, but also brings a lot of development problems. After 30 years of reform and opening, China has participated into global value chain division using her labor, land, mineral and other resources, and a series of positive policies. She has made great achievements in development. Domestic employment, technology, industry standards and economic levels have also received a huge boost. China’s influence in the world grows greater and greater. But with the deepening participation of the specialization of the value chain, China has been facing more and more problems. Therefore, the study on benefits, development difficulties and how to improve our position in the value chain and other issues in the global value chains specialization has a very important significance. This paper studies on issues related to the global value chains specialization firstly, discussing the situation of developing countries in it, and then discusses the status and benefits and other issues of China in the value chain and receives the following conclusions:1, the specialization of global value chains is an important development trend of the contemporary international specialization. All countries should be better integrated into the global value chains’ specialization system to get more benefits in today’s international trade.2, the participation of the developing countries in global value chains is a passive process. While they have obtained trade benefits, but also has to face a series of developing problems.3, like other developing countries, China’s processing trade is still at the low end of the global value chains’ specialization, and it is also facing many developing difficulties.4, China must change its developing ways, and ensure the safety of its domestic industry, and enhance the position the global value chains’ specialization.
