Study On The Development Model And Countermeasure Of Yunnan Border Port Tourism

With the rapid development of global tourism industry and the peace and stability of the international society, the border areas have become the important areas of developing tourism in many countries. Border tourism is of great significance to promote cross-border exchanges cooperation and the border area social economy development,At the same time, the border tourism plays an important role in the international economic and trade cooperation for an opening country to world.Yunnan province is located in the southwest border, bordering on Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos. Our boundary line reaches 4060 km, including 1997 km of border between China and Myanmar,1353 km of border between China and Vietnam,710 km of border between China and Laos. The border region in Yunnan has 16 ethnic minorities living cross-border, the border region has unique national culture, rich border customs and excellent ecological environment, thus the border region obtains the advantageous conditions for tourism development. Until July 2014, Yunnan province has 14 national first level ports, 7 national second level ports port, 90 counter-trade channels and 103 points in border trade free markets. The opening ports include air port, road port, inland waterway transport port and railway crossings. As a border province,which has the advantageous conditions of border tourism development,Yunnan province basically formed a pattern with land port, water port, air port all-around opening.Faced with new opportunities for development, Yunnan border tourism will bring a new level. Due to the fact that the border crossings is the center of border tourism economic growth, to explore its tourism development mode is an objective need to improve border tourism for rapid development of Yunnan province. The first chapter of this article firstly discusses border tourism development background and research progress.The second chapter focuses on the concepts and basic theory which related to border port tourism. The third chapter analyzes the present situation and existing problems of Yunnan border tourism industry development by the mothed of on-the-spot investigation, literature review, the network query, expert interview. The fourth chapter firstly makes a quantitative evaluation for the tourism development conditions of Yunnan frontier ports, builds the appraisal model of border tourism development conditions, discusses the ideas and methods to evaluate tourism development conditions of the frontier ports. And then the third chapter selects Dandong port in China, Colmar in France, and Portofino in Italy as cases, summarizes their successful experience, on the basic of what,the third chapter builds two patterns for Yunnan frontier ports tourism development : "cross-border tourism economic cooperation zone" and "border tourism trade town", in order to provide useful reference to the development of tourism in Yunnan border crossings. The fifth chapter selected Mohan port as the object of empirical study, and the analysis results show that: "cross-border tourism economic cooperation zone" mode is suitable for tourism development of Mohan port.The sixth chapter discusses on the development strategic goals and measures of Yunnan border port tourism.Chapter seven is to summarize the full text.
