With the progress of the society, service industry gradually plays an important part to promote the development of economy, and competitions between service-oriented enterprises are increasingly fierce. As a financing advisory services company, Z Company is also faced with the problem of intense market competition and customer needs change. How to achieve continuous improvement in service, to optimize business process, and to manage the company to service the customers as the center, becomes the key to the development of Z Company.This thesis, based on the research of relevant literature, analyzes business process improvement and relevant theory of Lean Six Sigma. We apply the DMAIC model of Lean Six Sigma to improve the business process of Z Company. In this way, we achieve to maximize the value of Customers and enterprise, make them both benefit from business process improvement, and provide reference for other similar enterprises to apply Business Process Improvement as well.The thesis uses Literature Research Method to collect, collate, analyze and research the correlative literature of Business Process Improvement, Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC model. By means of field research, we get the picture of business process of Z Company. Finally, by studying case, we prove its feasibility and effectiveness by studying Z company business process improvement on bases of DMAIC model.Specifically, the main research of this thesis as below:Firstly, Business Process Improvement(BPI), Lean Six Sigma(LSS), and DMAIC process model were researched respectively. With the definitude of related concept and connotation, it provides theoretical basis to support process improvement of Z Company.Secondly, by analysis of current situation of business process of Z Company, it points out that what needs to improve is cutting down the service time, then find out key influence factors based on DMAIC process model. In combination with the practical situation of Z Company, we formulate specific improvement scheme, continual improve according to the feedback control, then solve the business process problem of Z Company ultimately.Finally, in order to implement Lean Six Sigma successfully, critical success factors, organizational structure and culture building were discussed.
