Research On Social Responsibility Evaluation Of Mega Construction Project

Mega construction projects have a significant influence on the development of China. The stable develo pment in C hina’s political and economic life depends a lot on the success of mega construction projects. With the continuous development of social civilization, can these big- investment, time-consuming mega construction projects qualify the original need a nd can they bring a long term and positive impact on the society attract a lot of scholars’ attention all over the related fields. The research on the social responsibility of mega construction projects becomes a hotter field especially under the circumstance that China has increased the investment in the mega construction projects in the last five years.The research on China’s mega construction projects is on the early stage right now, however people become more and more interested in this field’s develop ment. Some projects have already published their social responsibility reports to the society at a regular time once a year. In order to improve the evaluation of mega construction projects’ social responsibility and bring project planners, investors and people all around the related field a more scientific evaluation method, this research mainly focus on the combination of theory of the social responsibility evaluation system and the application of SVM classification and regression which are based on the mega construction projects’ types and characteristics. The research is designed to covers economic, law, social and moral these four aspects of the evaluation of social responsibility system in mega construction projects based on the principle of index selection and principle of setting up evaluation system from the view of mega construction projects stakeholders as a start point. Using different types of mega construction projects’ social responsibility’s index and the evaluation of social responsibility’s computation methods and input output based on the SVM technical method to build up mega construction projects’ evaluation model. The model carries Matlab R2016 a platform embedded libsvm toolbox to handle the data and index evaluation. It improves the confidence of the evaluation result, also using the real case analysis to evaluate the specific project’ social responsibility which testify the practicability of this study. Last but not least, come with an analysis on how to promote this model from the angles of government, industry and project management which points out this research’s uncovered fields and future study contents.
