Statistical Research On China’s Education Level Based On Gini Coefficient

In 1907, Austria statisticians put forward the famous Lorenz Curve.It portrayed income distribution inequality intuitively.But he has yet(not) to be quantify the extent of this accurately.Based on his contribution,Italian economist Gini proposed quantitative determination of the degree of difference between income distribution in 1912.In recent decades, income distribution issue has been aroused by the academic attention.The Gini coefficient is a measure standard of a country’s social progress.Many scholars have done corresponding research in it.Into the 21 st century,there are many factors that affect revenue,such as education level, regional location, macroeconomic policy, employment opportunities, etc.Since China’s implementation of technology and education,the level of education is increasing gradually.Education as a human capital will certainly have an impact on the degree of income.But in China,academics researched poorly on the effect of education level of the income equality.In this paper, firstly gave the Lorenz Curve and Gini Coefficient presentation and proved the nature of the Lorenz Curve from the theory.Within the 2012 urban residents data as objects.The parameters of different models were estimated and elected the ideal model from the viewpoint of the graphics expression and the goodness of fit. Secondly, summarized the methods of calculating the Gini Coefficient and improved the Segmentation method theoretically.Within the yearbook data reference as object,use the improved methods and the original scheme empirical analysis.Then analyzed the superiority of the improved method.At last,selected the part of the provinces as object,in accordance with the level of education divided into five income groups.It focused on the groups and between the groups internal Gini coefficient.So inferred the impact of education on earnings levels.Then analyzed the current situation of education.And put forward relevant policy recommendations.
