In the manufacturing process of light weapons, Researchers often need to do live fire shooting experiments to verify the performance of the projectile weapons in the range. Screen vertical target is a set of equipment to measure the flying speed and projectile-impact coordinates of the projectile weapons. Since the device is generally placed on the muzzle or projectile point, it is inconvenient for experimenters to observe the analog signals generated by the projectile passing through the light curtain, which make it difficult to get the data reflected the performance of the projectile. To solve this problem, this paper designs a set of system for the target signal of screen vertical target to be collected and stored, which can accomplish the acquisition and the real-time storage for the analog signal.With the quick development of semiconductor technology, it has great effect on the handle rate of FPGA, the collect rate, the precision of ADC and the space to storage. Based on it, in the background of the screen vertical target, this paper designs a system for the target signal to be collected and stored with the core technology is FPGA, which completes the collection of the target signal and storage the collected data to the SD card. This paper firstly designs analog signal processing circuit of A/D collection and A/D peripheral interface circuit based on the analog signal’input parameters of High-speed sampling chip AD9228,and according to the operating mode of SD card,this paper completes circuit design between FPGA and SD card and builds the hardware circuit platform of the system. Completing the data collection through the FPGA’ control to the ADC, this system uses FPGA to build asynchronous FIFO which as a buffer space for collected data and stores the buffer data into the SD card through the communication mode of SPI bus.The FAT32 file system solves the management of data effectively. Finally, it designs analog and digital filter circuit to eliminate the interference signal.This paper tests the hardware and simulated the function of each module of the software. Test results show that this design has achieved the desired goals.
