Soil nutrients at different times and different positions show a high degree of spatial heterogeneity, precisely controlling of the spatial variability of soil nutrients for rational fertilizing , Improving nutrient utilization and promoting the technology development of fertilization has a great significant. Taking the growing soil of tobacco planting areas in Nanping City as object, this study wishes to determine the condition of organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, available phosphorus, total potassium, available potassium, exchangeable calcium, exchangeable magnesium, available sulfur, boron and water-soluble Cl by investigating and collecting the representative tobacco soils. By the geographic information system (GIS) and the Geo-statistics to study the variability function model of the major nutrient in the cultivated area,and then discussed spatial variability and content of soil nutrients of tobacco planting area to provide some evidences to formula fertilization of tobacco planting. The main results were as follows:1. The coefficient of variation of soil nutrients in Nanping planting tobacco area was between 26.00% and 80.00%. The coefficient of variation of soil Organic matter was minimal (26.00%), the coefficient of variation of the soil available potassium was maximal (80.00%), Total nitrogen, total potassium and nitrogen have a low coefficient of variation, the range of the variation was between 27% -29%, showing a relative stability; soil total phosphorus, exchangeable calcium, exchangeable magnesium, water-soluble chloride, effective Sulfur and potassium have a higher coefficient of variation, the range of the variation was between 38% -78%, showing a greater spatial variability.2. In Nanping tobacco planting area ,soil organic matter, exchangeable magnesium, boron, nitrogen, total potassium, available phosphorus and potassium content were normal distribution, total phosphorus, water-soluble chloride, exchangeable calcium, available S, alkaline solution N, available K content were the lognormal distribution; tobacco soil total nitrogen, total phosphorus, available phosphorus, organic matter, exchangeable calcium, nitrogen, available sulfur, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, available phosphorus, organic matter have different degree of trend effects.3. The spatial variability of all soil nutrients of Nanping tobacco planting area was between 6.3Km—351Km, available sulfur’s range was the smallest, reaching to 6.3Km, the soil exchangeable calcium had the maximal range, reaching to 351km; Organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, available phosphorus, exchangeable magnesium, water-soluble chlorine had the smaller range around the 10km, total K had a larger range. By GS + analysis shows that available P fit with the highest fitting by using spherical model,organic matter, total nitrogen, available nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, available potassium, exchangeable calcium, exchangeable magnesium, available sulfur, boron and water-soluble fit with the highest fitting by using exponential model。By screening, the highest precision Interpolation method for Organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, nitrogen, total K, exchangeable Ca and available S is ordinary Kriging (OK); the highest precision Interpolation method for Potassium, exchangeable magnesium and water soluble Cl is Universal Kriging (UK); the highest precision Interpolation method for available phosphorus, boron is Disjunctive Kriging (DK)4. The lacking area of soil organic matter in Nanping planting tobacco area was 1526.84hectares, the potential lack of area was 35673.78hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 216868.12 hectares,and the rich area was 22215.26 hectares, accounting respectively for 0.55%、13.91%、78.49% and 8.04%;5. The lacking area of soil total nitrogen in Nanping planting tobacco area was 3777 hectares, the potential lack of area was 119014.25 hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 135178 hectares,and the rich area was 18314.75 hectares, accounting respectively for 1.37%、43.08%、48.93% and 6.63%;The lacking area of soil available nitrogen in Nanping planting tobacco area was 65810.75 hectares, the potential lack of area was 157462.75hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 53010.50 hectares, accounting respectively for23.82%、56.99% and 19.19%;6. The lacking area of soil total phosphorus in Nanping planting tobacco area was 30756.25 hectares, the potential lack of area was 44938.25 hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 116166.75 hectares,and the rich area was 84422.75 hectares, accounting respectively for 11.13%、16.27%、42.05% and 30.56%;The lacking area of soil available phosphorus in Nanping planting tobacco area was 925.25 hectares, the potential lack of area was 44588.5 hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 172768.75 hectares,and the rich area was 58001.5 hectares, accounting respectively for 0.33%、16.14%、62.53% and 20.99%;7. The lacking area of soil total potassium in Nanping planting tobacco area was 176909.5 hectares, the potential lack of area was 94727.5 hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 4647 hectares, accounting respectively for 64.03%、34.29% and 1.68%;The lacking area of soil available K in Nanping planting tobacco area was 43621.5 hectares, the potential lack of area was 183023.25 hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 40068.75 hectares,and the rich area was 9645.50 hectares, accounting respectively for 15.78%、66.23%、14.50% and 3.49%;8. The lacking area of soil exchangeable Cain Nanping planting tobacco area was 117012.5 hectares, the potential lack of area was 150794.5hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 8477hectares, accounting respectively for 42.35%、54.58% and 3.07%;The lacking area of soil exchangeable magnesium in Nanping planting tobacco area was 79592.25hectares, the potential lack of area was 195673.75hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 857.5 hectares,and the rich area was 160.5 hectares, accounting respectively for28.81%、70.82%、0.31% and 0.06%;9. The lacking area of soil available sulfur in Nanping planting tobacco area was401.5 hectares, the potential lack of area was 8371hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 151967.25 hectares,and the rich area was 115544.25 hectares, accounting respectively for 0.15%、3.03%、55.00% and 41.82%;The lacking area of soil boron in Nanping planting tobacco area was 102273.75 hectares, the potential lack of area was 116426 hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 57554.75 hectares,and the rich area was 29.5 hectares, accounting respectively for 37.02%、42.14%、20.83% and 0.01%;The lacking area of soil water-soluble chloride in Nanping planting tobacco area was 321.25 hectares, the potential lack of area was 22689.5 hectares, the area of middle-fertility was 304.75 hectares, accounting respectively for 1.38%、97.32% and 1.31%.
