14 soil available nutrients in the area of planting banana were researched by the traditional statistics and 7 items (soil pH, available N, available K, available P , available S, available Fe, and organic matter) which had significant effect on banana yield being as items study were selected by differentiating characteristic principle to research their spatial variation . Spatial variation-structure of seven soil nutrients and index for banana production were researched by geostatistics combined with GIS (Geographic Information System) .The results showed that the main reason of the decline of soil available nutrients was caused by soil spatial variation. The result of geostatistics analyst indicated that spatial variation of soil pH and available N were maily produced by structural factor, and the reason of spatial variability of available Fe was random factor, while that of soil available K, available P, available S and organic matter were caused by random factor and structural factor. Spatial variation for banana stem girth was caused by itself and that of plant height, fingers No. and yield were primarily induced by itself, soil spatial variability and...
