Study On The Landscape Plant Configuration Mode Of Residential Area In The Pearl River Delta Region

Residential area is the main place to people’s life, with the rapid development of global economy, living environment is getting worse, so that people pay more and more attention to the quality of living environment, therefore the quality of landscape of plant landscape gradually become an important indicator in evaluating a residential is livable or not. Studying on the landscape plant configuration mode in the residential area, which not only can provide practical basis to create a beautiful, healthy, comfortable and livable living environment, but also can provide the reference platform for the fast high-quality landscape design.This paper mainly study on18representative residential areas of6cites at the Pearl River Delta region, then choosing the entrance space, road space, waterfront space and the atrium space as the survey unit, and investigating the plant landscape and the plant configuration mode, also comprehensively evaluate and analysis the investigate content by the Scenic Beauty Estimation procedure(SBE) and the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), It is in order to get the optimal configuration mode of plant landscape and the evaluation model of the configuration mode of it in the Pearl River Delta, It provides data base for building the subsystem of Residential area, which affiliates to the information system of plant landscape at Lingnan area. Main research results are as follows:(1) Through analyzing we obtain the optimal configuration mode of plant landscape in the Pearl River Delta area. According to the different functional partition, as shown below:(1)The entrance space:the compound layer mixed mode of Trees (Cinnanomum camphora+Bauhinia blakeana+Cassia surattensis+Hibiscus tiliacetus+Cephalantheropsis gracilis+Plumeria rubra)-Shrubs(Syzygium rehderianum+Cycas revolute+Ixora chinensis+Strelitzia reginae)-Covers(Philodenron selloum+Catharanthusroseus)-Grasses(Zoysia tenuifolia) etc.;②The road space:the compound layer mixed mode of Trees(Bischofia javanica+Cinnanomum camphora+Cassia surattensis+Erythrina crista-galli)-Shrubs(Melaleuca bracteata+Jatropha integerrima+Plumeria rubra+Duranta erecta+Tibouchina semidecandra)-Covers(Lantana montevidensis+Alpinia zerumbet+Impatiens linearifolia-Grasses(Zoysia tenuifolia) etc.;(3)The waterfront space:the compound layer mixed mode of Trees(Cinnanomum camphora+Salix babylonica)-Shrubs(Plumeria rubra+Lorpetalum chindense+Sehefflera arboricola)-Covers(Philodenron selloum+Crinum asiaticum var. sinicum+Dianella ensifolia) etc.; ④The atrium space:the compound layer mixed mode of Trees(Heteropanax fragrans+Elaeocarpus hainanensis)-Shrubs(Plumeria rubra+Pittosporum tobira+Michelia figo+Excoecaria cochinchinensis+Duranta erecta)-Covers(Cordylie fruticosa+Alpinia zerumbet)-Grasses(Zoysia tenuifolia) etc..(2) It structures the evaluation model of garden plant configuration mode for the four spaces of residential area and the all residential areas in the Pearl River delta. And obtains the decisive factors of residential plant configuration by the model, they are Matching Species with the Site, Species Diversity, Growing of the Plants, the Harmony of Plants and Habitats, Degree of Gradation, the Degree of Around, the Creation costs and the Maintenance costs etc..(3) At the garden plant configuration of residential district, the Determination of Plant Species selection and Configuration Mode are the most important impact factors. Plant species selection need to meet the ecological and ornamental, artistic conception and economic properties, It is in order to obtain higher values of plant landscape beauty degrees. Configuration mode suitable for select the compound layer mixed mode, which has rich content, strong administrative levels sense, landscape abound change, high appreciation, so that it’s the best choice of the plants configuration mode to create beautiful living environment.(4) It concludes a list of garden plants at residential area in the Pearl River Delta, that aims to provide a scientific and effective basis for residential area landscape design and plant studying.(5) It provides a data basis for establishing the information system of plant landscape at Lingnan area--the subsystem of Residential area, that’s in order to provide a platform for the fast high-quality landscape design of residential district.
