Taxus chinensis is not only a rare national protection plant, but also the most widely distributed plant. It is the theoretical and practical issues need to be addressed urgently how to scientific cultivate Taxus chinensis. The paper is a part of the public welfare and forestry:Research on forest thinning and efficicent utilization of southern collective forest (Number:201004032). Based on the summary of the Seedling and afforestation of Taxus chinensis, seeds and cuttings of wild Taxus chinensis had been taken as the provenance in State-owned Forest Farm of Qingshigang. Experiment of seed and cottage were respectively conducted. Tests of seed breeding seedlings and afforestation were launched. Survival rate, diameter and height were measured in the first year and two years after afforestation. The results solved the technology of seedling and afforestation of Taxus chinensis. It provide a theoretical basis for cultivation of Taxus chinensis. The main result have been studied as following:(1) Through water absorption rate test, water absorption rate of coat cracking seeds is stronger than intact seeds of Taxus chinensis.Seed viability were95.2%and92.4%of intact seeds and coat cracking seeds in room temperature blisters without any other processing. The germination rate is very high of-5℃cold stratification for1months at room temperature and stratification of mixed sand burial treatment for1years.(2) A completely randomized block was designed for sowing time, sowing way and shading treatment. Research shows that the average weight of individual plant respectively increased51%,134%,and The ground diameter respectively increased33%,50%; Height of seedlingrespectively increased15%,39%. Processing experiment of sowing time of Taxus chinensis have no difference in growth and seedling quality, Seeding effect is best in mid February. Shading treatment had significant effect on growth of Taxus chinensis.(3) Survival rate of cuttage is different in cover soil, survival rate was more than60%that which was the highest in the humus soil and sand with1:1mixed nutrition soil seedbed, It followed by pure sand bed, survival rate was the lowest in pure humus soil seedbed. (4)Survival rule of monoecious tree cuttings in different parts and different age showed such as:Survival rate were significantly higher of1years than2years in Monoecious tree.Ssurvival rate of the middle crown and1years cuttings was the highest, It followed by cuttings of upper canopy, survival rate of lower crown cuttings is the lowest.(5) Survival rate of GGR6treated cuttings is higher than with no treatment and was the highest of20mg/L GGR6treatment, it is up to more than90%, Survival rate was the lowest without any treatment, it is44.2%.(6) Planting survival rate of burning is higher than no burning of4species separately mixed with Taxus chinensis, Ground diameter at grounddiameter at groundgroundchanges have little differences of ground diameter growth one year after. But growth of height and diameter in burning afforestation is better than no burning after two years.Survival rate of Phoebe precious and Taxus chinensis in5tree species mixed Taxus chinensis is slightly higher more than of two species mixed. difference of height growth in Sugiki, Phoebe, Schima superba, Liquidambar formosana and Taxus seedling is very small a year later, Two years later, height and ground diameter growth in burning afforestation is better than no burning.
