In this study, I surveyed26sugarcane germplasm for natural infestation to borers, planting anti-sense germplasm to borers indoor.I determined ascorbic acid, soluble sugar and soluble protein in anti-sense germplasm for borers. I used jasmonic acid(JA) as induction agents, Determined the total phenolic, tannin and catalase, polyphenol oxidase, peroxidase and superoxide dismutase in anti-sense germplasm for borers. I surveyed emergence rate, ratoon sprout rate, plant height, stalk diameter and plantings brix, and determined quality Indicators in anti-sense germplasm to borers.I analysised indexes and the relationship of constitutive resistance and induced resistance in the variety. The main results were as follows:(1) The analyzed results of the number of bored holes indicated that, There was different damaging degree between plantings and rooting. YG34, YZ03-258, YG26were resistance germplasms to borer, and DZ03-83, YG35, LC03-1137were susceptible germplasms. They were stabilization for anti or sense to borer.(2) The nutrients content was significant difference between resistant germplasms and susceptible germplasms. soluble protein, soluble sugar and ascorbic acid in YG34, YZ03-258, YG26were lower than YG35, LC03-1137, DZ03-83, and ROC22between them. There were some rules with bored holes, There was opposite trend between sugarcane germplasms resistance to borers and nutrients content, the worse resistance to borers.(3) After the methyl jasmonic acid induced, contents of secondary metabolites and protective enzyme activity was significant difference between resistant varieties and susceptible varieties. Total phenolics, tannin concents and protective enzyme of resistant varieties YG34, YZ03-258, YG26were higher than susceptible varieties YG35, LC03-1137, DZ03-83. There were some rules with bored holes, they expressed positive correlation between sugarcane germplasms resistance to borers and nutrients content, and also the protective enzyme.(4) All of the sugarcane quality in7species were different. All species of sugar indexes of bagasse, Sucrose content, fiber percent cane, juice extraction rate were different, but no significant. Polarimeter reading in juice, apparent purity, gravity purity, sucrose content in juice resistant varieties YG34, YZ03-258, YG26were higher susceptible varieties DZ03-83.(5) It had significant difference in the agronomic traits of26species. Ratoon sprout rate were higher than sprouting rate, and plantings brix were lower than ratoon. There is some rules between planting and ratoon in YG40, YZ03-258, ROC16, ROC22, GN02-70, FN37, FN36. In two sowing date, the more serious the insect pests of plant, the worse they agronomic traits.
