Grain crops production in Heilongjiang province occupies an important position in our country, but the problems of water resources and serious spring drought restrict the areas of agricultural production. The province has low fertilizer use efficiency is the result of the application rate of fertilizer fertilization technology, the traditional unreasonable. Through the regulation of soil moisturecan improve the utilization rate of fertilizer, also can make the water potential into full play by rational fertilization, reasonable fertilization to water use efficiency can be greatly improved, so people pay more attention to the issue of nutrient and water relations in Dryland agriculture. This study by pot experiment in2013at the Northeast Agricultural University Horticultural Experiment Station of Harbin City, focusing on the effect of different water and nitrogen coupling on maize growth, grain yield and irrigation benefit in local climate conditions under black soil, albic soil and meadow soil. Research black soil, albic soil and meadow soil on water and nitrogen coupling effect and designing the plentiful, suitable water, mild drought, severe drought four levels and four nitrogen fertilizer standards, and make severe drought treatments on suitable water group in whole growth stage. Through the analysis can draw the following conclusions:(1) Analysis of different nitrogen levels on the growth of maize under black soil, albic soil and meadow soil. The results show that:Corn in different water and nitrogen levels on the growth and development make the influence varies of the degree.(2) Through the establishment of water and nitrogen two factors and yield of mathematical regression model, shows that water and nitrogen have significant effect on black soil, albic soil and meadow soil, the influence strength order is:water> nitrogen. For the same water conditions during the whole growth period, the yield of three different soil under the same conditions of water and nitrogen is:meadow soil>soil>Albic soil.(3) Study the relationship between Maize yield and the stage of water consumption under black soil, albic soil and meadow soil, calculating the water sensitive index under different water and nitrogen conditions in each growth stages under black soil, albic soil and meadow soil using Jensen models. The black soil, albic soil and meadow soil moisture sensitive index at the jointing and tasseling stage maximum so is sensitive period, albic soil sensitivity index lowest at the seedling so moisture can be set a lower level.(4) With entropy method evaluating different treatment groups under black soil, albic soil and meadow soil, indicated that the corn in the seedling stage and grain filling stage of severe stress effect on irrigation benefits lighter than at the jointing and tasseling stage of severe stress, heavy drought at jointing stage was the lowest irrigation benefit, increasing nitrogen application amount appropriately could improve irrigation efficiency of corn.(5) In semiarid region of Heilongjiang province water resources is relatively poor, agricultural water use can not can not be increase, irrigation water use decrease. To increase food production, when determining the irrigation system should be make irrigation efficiency highest, first consider the relationship between costand yield, and then determine the irrigation time and water quantity allocation problem.
