Middle-season rice yield of Jianghan plain where is the major mid-season rice habitat of Hubei province, with the area more than thirty thousands square kilometers, playing an important role in China. With the improvement of daily life, japonica cultivation is the result of the evolution of cultivation conditon and the requirement of the day. In recent years, the cultivation area of indica type rice has reduced sequentially, while the cultivation area of japonica has been increasing2.31%per year, however, the research in japonica lagged behind the requirement of the current rice cultivation. There are few news about the japonica varieties which are suitable for Jianghan plain and the research in cultivation of japonica. In addition, the japonica cultivation area of the major rice habitats are small. The research took the development of current japonica cultivation in consideration and drew some conclusion from observation of18Middle-late japonica in Jianghan plain in agronomic traits and discussion about the effects of different cultivation measons on Yongyou8and Zhengdao88.Firstly, six conclusions can be draw from the selection experiment of18middle-late japonica in Jianghan plain in four points.①Latitude and varieties have significant influence on the growth period. The diversity of the growth period in Xiangyang, Zhongxiang, Jingzhou and Gong’an is very significant.②) Latitude, varieties and the interaction of latitude and varieties have very significant influence on the rice height, ear length, setting percentage, varieties have significant effect on ears, the influcece of the interaction of latitude and varieties on ears are very significant. Varieties, the interaction of latitude and varieties have very significant effece on seeds number. The influence of varieties on thousand seed weight were very significant. The influence of the interaction of latitude and varieties on ears and the effece of latitude, the interaction of latitude and varieties on yield are very significant.③There were dominant negatively correlation between plant height and ears length, grain weight. The plant height was negatively correlated with seed setting rate; There was very dominant positive correlation between ear length and total grains per panicle; There was very dominant negative correlation between effective ear and total grains per panicle the number; Total grains and seed setting rate was dominant negatively correlated; Grain weight was positively correlated with yield dominant.④In four latitude, the highest average yield Vio adapt location is E2comprehensive evaluation is good; Fellowwing by V5adapt location is E1~E4comprehensive evaluation good, V12adaptation location is E1~E4comprehensive evaluation better; The lowest mean yield V18adapt location is E4comprehensive evaluation to adapt the location is good; Yields mean penultimate place is a V16, adapt E1, E2comprehensive evaluation is not good.⑤The influence of interaction of latitude and varieties on12quality traits has reached a very significant level; The influence of varieties on fine wide, protein content, gel consistency, gelatinization temperature rating has reached extremely significant aspect ratio of milled rice varieties impact of amylose content reaches significant level The influence of latitude on the gel consistency extremely significant level, achieved significant level with milled rice rate.⑥Milled rice was extremely long dominant positive correlated with milled rice Chalky grain rate, chalkiness was dominant negative correlated with fine wide; Protein content and milled rice refined dominant negative correlation was extremely wide, protein content was dominant negative con-elated with fine-meter-long showwing, the protein content showed a significant negative con-elation with chalky rate.2. Four conclusions can be draw from the discussion of the effects of different cultivation measons on Yongyou8and Zhengdao88:①Sowing date had a significant impact(F=795.3> F0.01) on conventional seed (Zhendao88) growth period. Sowing date was significantly negatively correlated with growth period y=-0.5417×+145.86(y:growth period, x:sowing date, R=0.9972*). Japonica hybrid rice in different years (Yongyou8) reached a significant level in growth period (F=8.0> F0.05); Sowing date significantly affected their growth period (F=82.71> F0.05) and showed significantly negatively correlation with full growth period y=-0.4x+149.67(y the growth period, x sowing date, R=0.9986*).②Conventional varieties (Zhendao88):Sowing date, density, nitrogen fertilizer rate had extremely significant effects(F=1108.5> F0.01, F=1477.1> F0.01, F=107.5> F0.01)on panicle; Planting density had significant (F=55.6> F0.05)effect on seed number of each panicle; In the test range, panicle increased with planting density, with an increase in planting density setting rate and thousand seed weight declined.Hybrid rice (Yongyou8):Only planting density had a significantly impace(F=52.74> F0.05) on effective ear; Within the test range, panicle increased with planting density, seed setting rate and grain weight tended to decrease with the increase of planting density.③The best cultivation combination:In the9treatments in two years, the highest yield of conventional variety(Zhendao88) was5th treatment. The best cultivation combination: sowing date was5May, planting density was68,100/667m2,Nitrogen rate was25kg/667m2, surface water height was10cm.In the9treatments in two years, the highest yield of conventional variety(Yongyou8) was5th treatment. The best cultivation combination:sowing date was5May, planting density was54,600/667m, Nitrogen rate was20kg/667m, surface water height was0cm. ④Yield:Years had a significant impact (F=2389> F0.01) on conventional rice (Zhendao88) yield. The effects of sowing date, nitrogen fertilizer on rice yield were extremely significant (F=172.12> F0.01, F=457.77> F0.01), nitrogen rate and yield were significant positive linear correlation (y=6.9528×+484.8(y:yield, x:Nitrogen, R=0.9283*)Years had very significant (F=147.4> F0.01) impact on hybrid rice(Zhengdao88) yield; Sowing time, nitrogen fertilizer rate had very significant ((F=1423.2> F0.01, F=4945.7> F0.01) impacts on japonica; Density had significant (F=93.1> F0.05) impact on Yield; The density and yield have positive linear correlation y=2.812×+633.89(y behalf yield, x on behalf of planting density, R=0.9945*) within the test range. The density and yield are positive linear correlation y=8.9363×+507.2(y:yield, x:nitrogen fertilizer, R=0.9087).
