This paper is mainly improved the horizontal corn straw cutter, add corn roots cuttingdevice in front of it. According to the job requirements, the author has put forward fourkinds of optimizations schemes of corn roots cutting device successively. For each schemehas carried on the detailed introduction and optimization point of theoretical analysis. UseCAXA entity software design the animation simulation to analyze rotary blade status whenhappen interactional cutting between the corn roots cutting device and corn straw cutter.Explore the factors affecting of corn roots cutting device to cut off corn stubble, use cornroots cutting device to test its cut effect near stubble, we want to find a reasonable standardof factor combination and good conditions to cut off the straw with highest cutting stubbleheight through the test. For horizontal cutter’s improvement to provide theoretical supportand reference.1.Studied the horizontal corn straw cutter’s operating limitations, working only to therows, and its wide is limited, so irregular straw in the space between the cutter monomerscould not be processed. Study and design to add a corn roots cutting device in front of cornstraw cutter, in order to realize cutting stubble before corn straw chopped during the wholeoperation.2. Study of corn roots cutting device, the author has put forward the four kinds ofoptimization scheme one after another, four schemes have inheritance, this paper hasintroduced the principle of four kinds of solutions in detail, and analyzed its differencesand similarities.3. To study rotary blade effect between corn roots cutting device and corn straw cutter,this paper has introduced the animation simulation process and steps of CAXA solidanimation simulation and analyzed the results. It shows that we can make both the rotaryblade to interaction cutting a reality,by adjusting the rotational speed of the rotary bladeshaft rate to2:3.on the basis of them make general cutter knife shaft pivot60°wheninstalled, this can make the knife is not to interaction cutting possible, at this time,we canshorten the distance of the two knife shafts to avoid the straw dropping into the big gapcaused by adjusting the installation, the straw were tossed to fixed blade directly by thecutter knives, then chopped.4. In order to study the cutting effects of corn roots cutting device of corn straw cutting and field device for corn stubble, orthogonalexperiments are conducted from the threelevels of stubble cutting height、stubble cutting linear velocity and operating speed. Theexperimental data are analyzed using SPSS. The results show that the optimal combinationof corn roots cutting device’s cutting rate for corn stubble is stubble cutting height of15mm, stubble cutting linear velocity of12.385m/s and forward speed of0.8m/s in a givenfactor level. Singlefactorexperiment is conducted for stubble cutting height, the drawing isplotted and the data is fitted by Origin software, the computation indicates the highestvalue of stubble cutting height for finishing stubble cutting work is22mm under thecircumstances of fixing stubble cutting linear velocity of12.385m/s and forward speed of0.8m/s.
