| F2populations of XiaoJiao pepper×DaJiao pepper were used, correlations betweentraits of number of ventricles (nv), placenta weight (plw), edible rate (er), fruit length (fl),fruit shape (fs), fruit shape index (fsi), fruit transverse (ft), meat weight (mt), pulpthickness (pth), pericarp type (pty), fruit width (fw), fruit shoulder shape (fss), fruitpointed shape (fps), peduncle length (pedl), peduncle width (pedw), weight of per fruit(wf) were analyzed, and its QTLs were mapped based on a genetic map of SRAPs andSSRs constructed in this study. The results were as followings:1) F2populations was used for results of correlation analysis indicated that, exceptfor fs, pty and fps, significant correlation (R2=0.12-0.99, P<0.01) were related betweenwf and all other fruit-related traits. Also, fs was significantly related (R2=0.38-0.66, P<0.01) to nv, plw, er, ft, mw,pty, fw, fss, fps and wf. There were significant correlations(R2=0.36-0.75, P<0.01) between er to all the other fruit-related traits. Percentage ofcorrelation coefficients of being significant (P<0.01) and high than0.5were51.28%.2) A genetic linkage map of1340.5cM was constructed based on102F2plants andslected81molecular markers, with the minimum distance between markers was1.0cMand the maximum distance between markers was38.2cM.3) A total of183fruit related QTLs were detected. Among them,138QTLs withindividual explanation of phenotypic variation more than0.1%were distributed amongC1, C2, C3, C4, C6, C7, C8and C9linkage groups, and among the18QTLs for wf,13QTLs had large contribution. In addition,12genomic regions with abundant QTLs weredetected on C1, C2, C4, C6, C7and C9linkage groups.This study would provide useful information for further molecular assited selectionsand fruit traits chractersiztion in pepper. |
