Hatchability is an important indicator of economic and breeding poultry production. There are many factors that affect hatchability, such as incubation conditions, genetic factors, as well as species differences in feeding and management conditions, and so on.Hatchability is an important indicator of economic and breeding poultry production, and it plays an important role in the process of reproductive physiology poultry. Many factors affect the hatching rate, there incubation conditions, genetic factors, species differences, and feeding and management conditions, and so on. Pigeon was an important economic animals, in-depth understanding of the factors affecting the hatchability meet people’s growing material needs of life has important practical significance. The present study focused on the Pigeon hatching on the apparent, an important factor affecting hatchability did not clarify its fundamental. With the continuous development of molecular biology, especially molecular marker technology has been widely applied to the study of poultry production traits, to elucidate the effects of deep-seated reasons Pigeon hatching from the molecular level possible. In this study, white feather King Pigeon for the study, while measuring King Pigeon egg white feather shape index, egg weight and embryo weight, and were analyzed their relationship with hatchability; On the other hand, the mRNA levels from different research pigeon embryo developmental expression pattern during GH and GHR gene, On this basis, the focus of exploring its impact on the hatchability of pigeon, pigeon egg hatchability of factors affecting the initial clarify and improve the theoretical apparent reference to a certain molecule. The main results are as follows:1. The results suggest that between the three groups of egg shape index (high, medium and low) of white feather King Pigeon fertile eggs, the eggs with medium egg shape index (0.71-0.79), weight19-22g and embryo weight around10.12g have the highest hatchability.2. The expression analysis of GH genes in different embryonic age in white feather King Pigeon:The GH gene expression in high group pigeon embryos was the highest on the1st day; and there were no significant differences of GH gene expression level in different head and body egg shape index on the4th and7th day; The relative expression level of GH gene was the highest in the brain and gonads on the10th day in white feather King Pigeon during the the period of incubation. The result of GH gene expression level in white feather King Pigeon with the same egg shape index in the different embryonic age showed that the relative expression level of GH gene was the highest in the brain and gonads on the10th day in the3rd group egg shape index, and then presented the downward trend. The result of GH gene expression level in white feather King Pigeon with the different egg shape index and embryonic age showed that, the GH gene expression level in the high group was significantly higher than the middle and low group in the brain and the gonads on10th day (P<0.05),There were no significant difference of the expression level in the high, middle and low group in the brain and gonads on the12th,14th,16th day in embryonic development(P>0.05).3. Expression of GHR gene in different embryo ages tested by Real-time Fluorescent PCR show that:gene expression levels of three experimental groups was nearly the same on day1; gene expression in head and body of medium group is significantly higher than other groups (P<0.05)on both day4and7; from day10to16during incubation, the relative expressions of GHR gene in brain and gonad were about the same; research on white feather King Pigeon embryos with the same egg shape index but differed in embryonic ages indicates that expressions of GHR gene have different methods, while study on embryos with different egg shape index and embryonic ages shows that expression of GHR gene in midium group is significantly higher than the low and high groups (P<0.05) in brain on day12,14and16, otherwise, expression level in gonad is significantly higher in medium group than the high and low groups.Based on the above, the eggs of the shape index of the middle group had a higher hatching, while expressing pigeon GH and GHR late embryogenesis genes affect the hatching eggs to a certain extent.
