Greater Khingan Mountains with rich forestry resources is an important timber production base, it has made a great contribution to the national economic construction since the founding of China. However, due to various historical reasons, the forest area of Greater Khingan Mountains is facing to reduce amount of forest resources, ecological function degradation and other issues, triggering recoverable resources crisis and ecological environment deterioration. How to manage and utilize the forest resources in reason, realizing the maximization of ecological benefits and economic benefits, making the precious forest resources cultivation, giving full play to the ecological benefits, both for area economic construction service, has become the urgent matter. Timber forest is to nurture and provide wood or bamboo forest as the main purpose, is a variety of forestry and the number is large, distributed widely, one of the main forest species material, widely used. Tending felling is a forest cultivation measure, and the means of obtaining timber. Therefore, to explore the effects of different tending intensity on biodiversity, soil fertility, and soil respiration of timber in Greater Khingan Mountains has important guiding significance for the rational development and utilization of forest resources in the region and the sustainable development with high efficiency in the future.Using timber in Greater Khingan Mountains as the research object, Set within a timber test area, conducted in the experimental area with mild, moderate, severe, such as different intensity tending harvesting, to explore the effects of different management patterns on biodiversity, soil fertility, and soil respiration, choosing the best ecological management pattern of timber in Greater Khingan Mountains from tending felling intensity. The main results were as follows:(1) Effects of different intensity offending felling on biodiversityAfter analyzing the survey data by logging every biological diversity, has concluded that: The strength of20.9%~25.5%of moderate-intensity tending improve forest harvesting on biodiversity play a catalytic role, while too high or low-intensity harvesting on stand tending biodiversity will have a negative impact, and even destructive.(2) Effects of different intensity of tending felling on soil fertilityAfter analyzing the various indicators of soil fertility after logging data, as concluded that: The strength of19.0%~20.9%of thinning can improve soil chemical properties and improve soil fertility.(2) Effects of different intensity of tending felling on soil respirationThrough various soil respiration intensity after analysis of different harvesting, the following conclusions:harvesting intensity significant effect on soil respiration in spring, the overall trend is:When low intensity harvesting, soil respiration rate increased harvesting intensity with which increased, and when the high intensity harvesting, soil respiration rate with harvesting intensity increases. Therefore, when using moderate-intensity tending felling, forest soil respiration rate is large, stand in favor of growth.(4) The ecological management pattern for the timber in Greater Khingan MountainsComprehensive diversity, soil fertility, soil respiration three biological factors, based on the above conclusions, drawn the best ecological management pattern for timber in Greater Khingan Mountains based on tending strength, the conclusion is:The strength of about21%of moderate-intensity tending way for forest biodiversity, soil fertility, soil respiration has promoted conducive to the growth of the stand.
