Isolation And Purification Of Eimeria Stiedae Field Strain In Rabbits

The coccidiosis were isolated from the liver of rabbits which have Eimeria Stiedae, then using2.5%potassium dichromate solution to incubate and sporulate coccidia oocysts. Using sucrose purified sporozoite of coccidiosis by density gradient centrifugation. The purified sporozoite infected healthy rabbits, then isolated from cultured liver cells, which was observed in vitro sporozoite invasion of liver cells in the growth process. The results showed that, purified Eimeria oocysts and spores can be obtained from this experiment, and the sporozoite infected liver cells in vitro. Hence, it provide a basis for the mechanism of spores infected livers in future.
