Farther more, the root system of millets grow dysplasia, and the physical strength of stalks are not well also. It is easier to lodging. Once the lodging is took place, the cover and shading one leaf by another will be occurred. This could directly lead to the decrease of the action of photosynthesis and the increase of respiration. Rates of leaf photosynthesis have great relationship to yield for the reason that his situation will reduce the accumulation of substance and a bad influence on filling stage. In order to research the effect of the properties including the height, the ability of against lodging, physiological characteristic and the yield of millet by PP333. This test selected the seed of Zhangza5millet and Jingu21millet as experimental materials by the method of randomized block design. During the period of seedling stage, sprayed PP333which had five ranges of concentrations as followed:150,300,600and1200mg/L. Make comparisons with the result of spraying just by water. Recording and researching the height, the ability of against lodging physiological characteristic and the yield of millet affected by PP333with five ranges of concentrations. The result of this test is as followed:PP333had inhibitory effect to both kinds of millets. With the increase of concentration of PP333, the rate of decrease of the millet’s height went up. On the country, the height of center of gravity went down gradually.With the increase of concentration of PP333, The internode length reduced, but the culm diameter and culm wall thickness also increased. Both the bending moment and lodging index of each basal internode declined. However, the breaking-resistant strength and lodging-resistance capability increased steadily.The different concentration of PP333was managed as followed, the chlorophyll contents in millets leaves would had been compared CK. It is obviously that PP333with a suitable concentration had a good effect to increase the chlorophyll contents. With the increase of concentration of PP333, All the content of chlorophyll-a, chlorophyll-b and carotenoids were increase first, then decrease, reaching the peak with300mg/L. There were a similar increasing trend in the number of all the content of chlorophyll-a, chlorophyll-b and carotenoids from05/07to05/08. And all of them reached the highest point on05/08, going down after this time.The influence to POD and SOD activities, and the content of MDA are different by PP333. The POD and SOD activities of millets leaves were increasing with the rise of concentration of PP333, and both of them arrived the peak with the concentration of300mg/L, while the result of the content of MDA showed the opposite situation, showing a trend of decrease. Under this concentration, the content of MDA hit the bottom, and then significant increased. During the period from05/07to05/08, the influence of SOD and POD by PP333showed a steady increase no matter what the concentration of PP333was. All of these two reach the peak on05/08, and then reduced. MAD content showed a steady upward trend, arriving the peak On21/08.In the filling stage, Different PP333with different concentrations had influence on the soluble protein and soluble sugar content in the second last leave. There were four results of Nitrate reductase activity which were increasing compared with CK. They increased with the concentration went up, reaching the peak at300mg/L, after this all were went down.As is concluded from above, the use of PP333had a great influence on the yield of millets. The most effective concentration was300mg/L. The1000-grains weight and the panicle weight increased caused by PP333. The number of them reached the peak under the concentration of300mg/L. The Panicle code number of millets decreased with the concentration increased gradually. However, the Panicle diameter of millets increased with the concentration increased gradually. |
