:As the experimental materials, Jingo21and Dungu were studied by randomized blocks design. In the treatment, a control group of water and Four Concentration gradients were built with two Trace mineral elements Boric acid and Zinc sulfate. After the application on the leaf at the millet seed filling stage, the changes of production and physiological indexes,such as photosynthetic characteristics, Chlorophyll content, solube sugar, solube protein and Nitrate reductase were measured.The purpose of this treatment was studying the influence of physiological and yield under trace mineral elements application at seed filling stage,and providing some basis on the rational use of Boric acid and Zinc sulfate in the production applications.The results are as follows:First, the proper amount of Boric acid and Zinc sulfate on the leaf at the millet seed filling stage could improve the Chlorophyll content and photosynthesis,such as photosynthesis rate, transpiration rate and stomatal conductance.Meanwhile,the intercellular CO2concentration was reduced.The activity of Nitrate reductase was increased, so did thecontent of solube sugar and solube protein. Consequently,the synthetic of carbohydrates and the conversion of carbohydrates to protein were promoted. The most obvious effect concentration of Boric acid and Zinc sulfate were0.0003g/ml and0.004g/ml.If the concentration are higher than them, each of the physiological indexes will appear a downward trend until comes into being a stress which restrains the growth and development of millet.Second, when the concentration of Boric acid and Zinc sulfate were0.0003g/ml and0.004g/ml,the length, coarse and Code number of the spike would be increased in different degrees. As a result, the yield of seed was increased.The yield of Jingu21and Dungu under Boric acid application at this concentration were458.23kg/a and640.15kg/a.They were460.23kg/a and664.12kg/a under Zinc sulfate application at this concentration...
