Establishment And Application Of Melting Peach Fruit Ouality Comprehensive Evaluation System And Database

Peach (Prunus persica L.) is one of the important fruits in China, but how to select the prior ones in multiple breeding materials, and how to properly evaluate the fruit quality in fruit market are the problems facing us. By establishing a melting peach fruit quality parameters database, formulating the evaluation standards then on it, and meanwhile calculating the parameter’s weight, the research established a melting peach fruit quality comprehensive evaluation system and built a melting peach database on Microsoft Access2010. Furthermore, the research applied the evaluation system and database to do a comprehensive evaluation of20melting peach varieties (lines) in Zhejiang Fenghua for several superior ones. The main conclusions drawn from the research are as follows:1. Built a melting peach fruit quality parameters database on reference research and experimental analysis and then did the statistical analysis as well to formalute the evaluation standards of the system. Meanwhile, invited professors to order each fruit quality parameter as its importance, and gave their ordering numbers in way of1-9proportion scaling method. And then an O-C judgment matrix was built to calculate the weight of each parameter. At last, combined the evaluation items, the evaluation standards and parameter’s weight to establish the melting peach fruit quality comprehensive evaluation system. What’s more, a parameter’s weight calculation program was developed based on the Microsoft Excel2010to make the weight calculation extremely convenient.2. A melting peach database was established based on Microsoft Access2010, with the development of database objects, such as table, query, form, report, macro and so on. The melting peach fruit quality comprehensive evaluation module, which is mainly used to score the tested melting peach fruits, and the variety information query module, which is mainly used to inquiry the variety information such as breeding information, variety characteristics information, cultivation techniques and variety stories were included in the database.3. An application of the melting peach fruit quality comprehensive evaluation system was to assess20melting peach accessions from Fenghua Zhejiang and accessions like "X1-15","Xinyu","Qingshuibaitao","X1-1","Yulu" were selected as the superior ones with the higher comprehensive scores. Together with further researches into variety cultivation characteristics and storability, the result laid the foundation of the promotion of new varieties.
