According to micro irrigation the design procedure projects and AUTOCAD graphicsfeatures, a frame of the CAD system of pipe network layout of the detailed of micro irrigationproject, which includes some modules about building graphics rendering irregular terrain,hydraulic calculation and generation of materials automatically, is built by using thesecondary developing tools of CAD. The software is developed by this framework whichutilized to VBA language. Through the above research, the conclusions were listed as follows:(1)This research focuses on the pipe network layout of engineering of micro irrigation,and construction the pipe network layout of the model of MI_CAD PIPE, the main ideawhich is according to the layout features of pipe network irrigation, combined with irregulartopographic maps, it is complete to intersection and displace the pipe through theinformation of the points of pipe elements. The pipe line could be draw quickly because ofattribute of pipe line is operating, like as add, modify, extraction.(2)The draw module combined with pipe network hydraulic calculation module toachieve the draw and hydraulic calculation changed to each other. As we know, the pipelength information is key point for the hydraulic calculation, and the result of calculation usedto be change the pipe length. Provide certain for the pipe network to optimization techniques.(3)The module was built that icon library and title bar combined, we can modify it, theninsert in graphics of engineering. To used the editing figure function of CAD and utilized theVBA language preparation of the appropriate driver functions to achieve a smart insert andmodify various types of equipment in the pipe network, through generating materialinformation to extracts attribute information table.(4)MI_CAD system based on the micro irrigation engineering design specifications, inthe given terrain conditions, the limit conditions as: lateral length, subunit length, pipediameter, etc. The results could be used by the designer select, the entire design can becompleted quickly. In this system, each module can run independently and collaborative todone the design work.This study can be applied to practice, improve design efficiency and precision in microirrigation project. Meanwhile, the results demonstrate that the model is effective, and can beused to direct developing of computer aided software for other irrigation system.
