To be a new high-efficiency irrigation technology, aeration irrigation can solve theproblem about a lack of oxygen result from drip irrigation to root zone, optimize the gasenvironment of root zone, promote crop growth, increase the yield of crops, and reaching aimof water saving and energy saving. It is great significance to promote the development ofwater-saving agriculture technology. This test compares the indicators of the greenhousetomato rhizosphere environment under the different water-irrigation level combine withdifferent aeration methods, the results show:(1)Compare with no-aeration, irrigation combined air treatment and adding air afterirrigation treatment can obviously increase the oxygen content in the soil, improve thefunction of soil respiration, and add aerobic microorganisms (bacteria, fungi andactinomycetes) numbers in the soil under the same irrigation amount, the relatively sufficientoxygen in root zone also promotes the growth of tomato roots. But the soil moisture contentand soil temperature have no significant affected by aeration irrigation. Soil moisture contentis mainly influence by the different of the irrigation water, and soil temperature is mainlyimpacted by climate change.(2)Aeration treatment and higher irrigation amount can increase average per plant fruitquality of greenhouse tomato, crop irrigation water use efficiency, plant dry matter cumulantsand root shoot ratio, as that the influence of aeration treatment is significantly greater than theirrigation amount. Under the same irrigation level, the effects of irrigation combined airtreatment on these indicators are more obvious than adding air after irrigation treatment.(3)Aeration irrigation has the significant effect on the increasing of the soluble solids, soluble sugar, titratable acid, lycopene and VC content of the greenhouse tomato. In addition, the effects of irrigation combined air treatment on these indicators are more obvious thanadding air after irrigation treatment. Proper water deficit and high irrigation amount canimprove the quality of tomato, and the effect of aeration treatment on quality is greater thanirrigation amount.Comprehensive analysis, that aeration irrigation can effectively improve soilenvironment and production of greenhouse tomato. In the condition of large-amount-waterirrigation, irrigation combined air treatment is the optimal to improve the anoxic state in the soil of greenhouse tomato. In the severe water scarcity areas, the combination of low waterirrigation and the aerated irrigation can improve the root zone environment and thegreenhouse tomato production significantly.
