| Broomcorn millet (Panicum miliaceum L..) is mainly one of small autumn crops planted in arid andsemi-arid area of northern China. It has drought, barren resistance, salt resistance, precocious features, andplays an important role in maintaining food production and avoiding drought disaster in the north of China.Based on the lack of systematic research of identification and evaluation on Broomcorn millet droughtresistance, choose56Broomcorn millet cultivars from different areas in China, and carry out droughtresistance identification and evaluation research at germinating, seedling, adult stages of Broomcorn millet.The aim is to determine comprehensive evaluation method of the drought resistance on the threedevelopment stages, to analysis the correlation of drought resistance of the three development stages, toscreen drought resistance varieties and appraisal indicators. The study will provide a scientific basis andraw materials for drought resistance evaluation, drought resistance breeding, further drought resistanceresearch on Broomcorn millet. The results are as follows:1, The weighted subordinate function is the ideal comprehensive evaluation method on Broomcornmillet drought resistance at germinating, seedling, adult stages. The basis of relative germination rate,drought survival rate, the drought index combining comprehensive drought resistant coefficient, averagesubordinate function, weighted subordinate function, grey correlation degree as four comprehensivedrought resistance evaluation method assess drought resistance of the Broomcorn millet at germinating,seedling, adult stages. The results show that the relative germination rate and comprehensive droughtresistance coefficient (0.62**), average subordinate function (0.69**), weight subordinate function(0.73**), the drought survival rate and average subordinate function (0.60**), weighted subordinatefunction (0.65**), the drought index and comprehensive drought resistance coefficient (0.65**), averagesubordinate function (0.60**), weight subordinate function (0.60**), grey correlation degree(0.52**) havereached the best significant correlation level, it can be seen that the fuzzy subordinate function (averagesubordinate function and weight subordinate function) and relative germination rate, drought survival rate,the drought index is significantly relation, as well as weighted subordinate function measure thecontribution of each index than average subordinate function, so it can be more objective and accurateevaluation of drought resistance of Broomcorn millet.2, Drought resistance direct evaluation display no correlation among germinating, seedling, adultstages, comprehensive evaluation showed that exist correlation between germinating and seedling, seedlingand adult stages. By relative germination rate, drought survival rate, the drought index respectively asdirect evaluation basis at Broomcorn millet germinating, seedling, adult stages, seedling stage, thecorrelation analysis showed that relative germination rate and survival rate (0.07), drought index (0.11),drought survival rate and drought index (0.143) were no significant correlation. It shows that is nocorrelation on Broomcorn millet drought resistance at germinating, seedling, adult stages. By weightedsubordinate function values as Broomcorn millet comprehensive evaluation basis at germinating,seedling,adult stages. The correlation analysis showed that is significant negative correlation atgerminating and seedling stage (0.29*), and no significant correlation between germinating and adult stage(0.06), and the best significant correlation (0.43**) between seedling and adult stage. It shows that existcorrelation on Broomcorn millet drought resistance at germinating, seedling, adult stages.3, Drought survival rates, relative germination rate, the drought index combined with weightedsubordinate function, using the PEG-6000stress at Brooncorn millet germinating stage under the conditionof severe drought, select1level drought resistance cultivars Jinshu no.2, Longmi no.5, Longmi no.8, Longmi no.10; At seedling stage, the use of plastic box and the middle of July~August natural environmentof drought less rain in Dunhuang, create extreme drought conditions and select1level drought resistancecultivars Longmi no.5, Mengjingmi no.1, Mengjingmi no.7,Ji no.3; On a adult period of use of dunhuangannual rainfall less than40mm,2486mm annual evaporation of natural conditions, under the severedrought, select1level drought resistance cultivars, Longmi no.2, Longmi no.10. The results showed1leveldrought resistance cultivars at Broomcorn millet germinating, seedling, adult stages distribute in Gansu,Inner Mongolia, Shanxi region.4, The study has implemented respectively correlation analysis between relative germination rate,drought survival rate, drought index combinating weighted subordinate function and drought resistanceidentification indexes at germinating, seedling, adult stages of Brooncorn millet. The results showed thatthe relative germination rate,weight subordinate function and relative root dry weight, relative shoot dryweight, storage material are the best significant correlation, can be used as drought resistance identificationideexes at Broomcorn millet germinating stage; Drought survival rate, weight subordinate function andplant water content, biological yield, relative growth rate, leaf area per plant exist the best significantcorrelation, can be used as drought resistance appraisal indicators at Broomcorn millet seedling stage;Drought resistance index, weight membership function and plot yield per plant, straw weight per plant,spike weight per plant, grain weight and plant height is significantly related, can be used as droughtresistance identification ideexes at Broomcorn millet adult stage. |
