In this study, the performances of14,466nest Landrace×Yorkshire Large White×Landrace on a large-scale pig farm in Fujian province from August2010toDecember2013were analyzed by SPSS17.0one-way ANOVA, including the tallnumber of born(TNB),the number of born alive(BAN),the number of dead foetus, thenumber of mummy foetus, estrus returning rate (estrus rate after weaning for7days)and parturition rate, the results showed that:(1) Different parity has certain impact on sow’s performance, in terms of TNB,the6thwas highest, there were11.69±0.65piglets/litter, higher than1stand2ndparity significantly (P <0.05),the1stparity was lowest, only10.28±0.50piglets/litter, and the6thparity also had highest BAN. In terms of the number of deadfoetus, the9thparity was highest, followed by7thand8thparity,the2ndwas lowest.The7thand9thparities had the higest number of mummy foetus, and the1stparity waslowest. In terms of parturition rate,the3rd,5thand6thparity were higher,the1stand9thwere lowest. Therefore, performance of1stparity was lowest,the6thwas highest, performances of3~7parities were stable,9thparity’s performance decreased.(2) Different mating month has different effects on sow’s breedingperformance,in terms of TNB, sows mated in November had best performance,therewere11.42±0.45piglets/litter,higher than sows which mated in May significantly(P<0.05).Sows mated in November and December had highest BAN,higher thanmated in April,May,June,July significantly (P<0.05),in which mated in May werelowest. In terms of estrus returning rate, July was highest, more than10%, higher thanestrus returning rate in January,February,March,April,Octomber,November,Decembersignificantly (P<0.05),and November and December were lowest,The effects ofmating month on the number of dead foetus, the number of mummy foetus andparturition rate were not significant (P>0.05).So you can draw that performances ofsows which mated in November and December were best, mated in May were lowest, estrus returning rate of sows which mated in May,July,August,September were higherthan other month. (3)Different effects on sow’s reproductive performance of the birthing month, interms of BAN, sow’s delivered in March and April had highest performance, higherthan August,September,Octomber,November,December significantly (P<0.05),and theperformance is lowest in September, only9.48±0.31piglets/litter. In terms of estrusrate, the performance in November and December is highest, higher thanMay,June,July,August,September significantly (P<0.05),August was lowest.Theeffect of birthing month on TNB,the number of dead foetus, the number of mummyfoetus and parturition rate were not significant (P>0.05). So we can draw thereproductive performance of sows which delivered in March and April werehighest, delivered in September were lowest, the estrus rate in November andDecember were highest,in August were lowest.
