In order to ensure the survival, growth and healthy development of large size Pinus tabulaeformis with soil clod and Sophora japonica without soil clod seedlings under the waste sand pit in the Beijing plain afforestation project, we selected three kinds of afforestation materials respectively for combination research according to the different pruning and growth characteristics of two tree species,. Antitranspirant, GGR 6 plant growth regulator and suillus grevillei were used to Pinus tabulaeformis research, while three nutritional supplements including trees nutrient solution, ecological liquid fertilizer and foliar fertilizer were used to another. Based on the analysis and evaluation of survival rate, morphological index, biochemical index, resistance index and comprehensive index, we could sum up the best afforestation program with the application of materials for the condition of barren site in the Beijing plain afforestation project. The results of the study were as follows:Pinus tabulaeformis research:1) The survival rates of P. tabulaeformis seedlings treated with materials were always higher than that with the control treatment (78%) especially with HSK (Suillus grevillei+GGR 6 plant growth regulator+antitranspirant) treatment. It was the highest (89%) which could save the maximum replanting cost (810 RMB Yuan), that was 4860 RMB Yuan/hm2; 2) Under the HSK treatment, the new shoots of P. tabulaeformis grew best, the average increasing rate of new shoots number was greatest which was as high as 2 times in control. The average increase of new shoot diameter was increased more than 117% compared with the control treatment. The new shoot length was up 247% compared with the control; 3) The average of total chlorophyll content with HSK was the highest of 6.962 mg/L, and the lowest of 5.758 mg/L with control; 4) Regarding the contents of leaf nutrient elements, under HSK treatment the average total content of element P was 0.81 g/kg, N 10.0 mg/kg and K 5.41 g/kg, which was better than the other treatments; 5) The number of bacteria in HSK increased the fastest from June to August, and the average increase was 13.67×105 per gram of soil which was better than the control treatment 1.33×105); 6) The activity of urease、CA、PPO were the highest under HSK which were increased more than 43.6%,33.5%,40% compared with the control treatment respectively; 7) HK(4.89μmol/g)、HSK(4.97μmol/g), S(4.97μ.mol/g) had the lower MDA content, which were lowered than the control by 17.7%,16.3%,16.3%. The content of SS and Pro under HSK were reduced by 33.4%,31.6%than the control; 8) The root activity of K, HSK and HS between the surface to the 15cm were higher, which were 53.73μg/g·h,53.41 μg/g·h,53.34μg/g·h. The root activity of all treatments between the 15cm to the 30cm was 48.20μg/g-h. The root average biomass of 0-15cm was 4.16g, and the HSK was the highest (4.98g); 9) Through the factor analysis to various processing comprehensive grade evaluation, HSK scores the highest (0.34), followed by the HK treatment with 0.31.Therefore, considering all the indicators, HSK treatment can both ensure the higher survival rate and promote the growth and development of seedlings.Sophora japonica research:1) From 2013 to 2014, the average increasing rate of DBH (diameter at breast height) of all the seedlings (960) was 0.63 cm, and the F treatment (Y-trees nutrient solution, S-ecological liquid fertilizer, F- foliar fertilizer) was the highest (0.84cm) which as high as 3.5 times in control. The average increase of canopy was 0.70 m, Y processing was the largest (0.77 m); 2)The highest gland average of specific leaf weight was the treatment YFS whose content is 7.05mg/cm2, while the minimum is the control treatment(5.58 mg/cm2); 3) The content of MDA, SS and Pro in YFS treatment were reduced by 16.3%,33.4% and 31.9% compared with the control; 4)Compared with other treatments, the YFS processing had the highest content of chlorophyll a(14.09 mg/L), chlorophyll b(6.08 mg/L) and the total chlorophyll(20.17mg/L); 5) YFS treatment could improve the content of three kinds of nutrient elements in leaves (The average content of P element:2.52g/kg, N element:35.42mg/kg, K element: 19.22 g/kg) which were increased by 12.5%,9.1%,14.6% compared with the control; 6) The RWCleaf relative water content) of YFS treatment was 0.79 which was lower than others;7) The average root biomass of all the treatments was 6.25g between the surface to the 10cm,4.61 g from 10cm to 20cm,1.25g from 20cm to 30cm; 8) Through the factor analysis to various processing comprehensive grade evaluation, YFS scores the highest(0.41), followed by the FY treatment with 0.34. Therefore, considering all the indicators, YFS treatment can perfect the trees’structure and function, adjust the water physiology and accelerate the synthesis and accumulation of the organics compared with other treatments.
