In order to analyze the effects of different ways of soil-gashing and root cutting and nitrogen on populations of L. chinensis grassland in Inner Mongolia degraded grassland, we conducted a sequential split-split plot design about soil-gashing and root cutting and nitrogen addition experiment in a degraded grassland plot that was fenced in Inner Mongolia University grassland ecological research base, the main area for two different root cutting processing ways, split block processing for different gradient of nitrogen added. Different combination treatment effects on L. chinensis grassland as the research object is nanalyzed, and the comprehensive effect of soil-gashing and root cutting and nitrogen addition was explored and the exploration of soil-gashing and root cutting and nitrogen addition improvement effect of primary and secondary relations on the degradation of I. chinensis grassland was made by this study, to seek the best way to restoration of degraded L. chinensis grassland. The results indicted.1.Though the improvement of soil-gashing and root cutting combined with nitrogen addition treatment conducted on natural degraded L. chinensis grassland in Xilingol, the bar cutting root and 60kg·ha-1 nitrogen adding level is the best combination, and this combination processing aboveground biomass of community increased by 66.49%, L.chinensis population aboveground biomass increased by 99.09%, L. chinensis population density increased by 41.56%, the average height of L. chinensis population increased by19.41%.2.The combination of cutting root and nitrogen treatment has impact on the underground biomass of community, except the bar cutting root way and no nitrogen added combination processing, other combination processing underground biomass decreased, while along with the improvement conducted, the underground biomass of community increased, promoting the underground biomass of community accumulation.3.The effect of different ways of cutting root and different gradient of nitrogen added improvement on the degraded L.chinensis grassland of primary and secondary relations are different gradient of nitrogen added improvement is effective, and different ways of cutting root improvement also play a regulatory role, but the effect of the root cutting treatment is not obvious. Cutting roots and nitrogen interactions of L. chinensis grassland had a regulatory role, but they are not significant. If cutting groot conducting, more than 30kg·ha-1 nitrogen added level, with nitrogen gradient increases, the total production of L. chinensis grassland, aboveground biomass of L. chinensis population, population density and height increase.4.The best combination treatment is Q20N4, the yield of 1544.87kg·ha-1, increased yield of 857.39kg·ha-1, as the market price of 600-650yuan·ton-1, the processing increase benefit RMB 514-577 yuan, acquired net income for 244-307 yuan·ha-1.
