Studying the improvement of different types of soil profile patern is profound for improving the quality of cultivated land.The paper used the method of literature analysis to conclude that soil profile pattern should be unified, And also summarized that the concept of soil profile patter is the order of soil horizons or the arrangement of different soil texture layers. Using the method of sequence of soil horizons, the soil profile patern can be divided into simple profile and complex profile The order of soil horizon makes profile pattern types be divided into simple profile and complex section; The use of different soil texture layers sequence representation classification results for homogeneous profile configuration type, sandwich type and bottom type.This paper analysed the relationship between the soil profile pattern and cultivated land quality from macro and micro scale. This paper also analysed the relationship among the soil profile pattern、soil fertility and cultivated land natural quality evaluation factors at the macro scale. At the micro scale, the paper deeply studies characteristics of soil water distribution and the movement of homogeneous and sandwich profiles.Based on the research of soil profile pattern types, the paper presented the connotation and principle of profile pattern improvement. And summarized the profile pattern improvement methods include: Soil improvement、Flood sediment、Soil structure improvement、Mechanical modification and suitable soil profile pattern types. Based on the agricultural land gradation theories, the paper introduced evaluation method farmland of natural quality before and after soil profile pattern improvement.Taking Nong’an County of Jilin Province for scenario analysis, based on its agricultural land gradation results, analyzed the soil profile pattern types and corresponding cultivated land quality, This paper proposed the improvement methods of Nong’an County adverse soil profile pattern types and natural quality evaluation index system and the evaluation parameters. Nong’an County sandy class profile improvement method for soil improvement method, mechanical change indigenous and organic material backfilling; clay profile pattern improvement method for soil improvement method, cited sheetflood deposition method, organic material backfilling method, mechanical improvement of indigenous and soil profile reconstruction method. The evaluation results of cultivated land natural quality after profile improvement.showed that: Nong’an county farmland natural quality don’t range for the 8-11; Soil profile pattern improvement can promote cultivated land natural quality 1 grade, that is to say: 11 increase to 10 and 10 to 9.
