Erectophile type varieties, ZHENGDAN 958 and ZHONGDAN 909, and medium-type varieties, LONGPIN 206 and NONGDA 108, were utilized to analya; the effects on their growth period, plant height, leaf growth, leaf area, in the study component and its under grain yield different planting densities.1,Under the same planting date, in the number of days plant density had no significant effect both in the medium varieties and erectophile from the insemination to the seedling stage, with an increasing planting density there was not a significant increase in the number of days from the jointing to tasseling, and from the tasse to the silking and the growth stage.2,Corn plant height was significantly affected by planting density. A lower plant height was found between the both plant types in the low planting density, while plant height reducing with plant density increasing. However, plant height of all the varieties performed a reducing trend at the plant density of and compared to medium-type varieties, the erectophile type ones were not subjected to planting density.3, In all the wholestage the number about caulis expressed relative stability, in corn planting density which was affected barely, the number of corn leaves varied in the different genotypes, plant density had slight influence on different leaf-groups, but obvious effect on leaf phyllotaxis, leaf-width and leaf-length of the longest or the widest leaf.4, In the early growth staget he all types showed that less difference of the com leaf area, with the increase of density the leaf area decreased in the middle and later growth stage in different planting densities.5, A same trends were identified with the increase of planting density among the spike width, the spike length, the number of grain per line, the number of grain per spike, and 1000-grain weight of different varieties. Erectophile type varieties, ZHENGDAN 958 and ZHONGDAN 909 had a better d and a lower sensitivity than medium type ones, LINGPING 206 and NONGDA 108.6, Between yield varieties and planting densities the results of ANOVA showed a significant difference, interaction between varieties and planting densities. In the northern Anhui province, the accepted and best planting density of the four com varieties, ZHENGDAN 958, ZHONGDAN 909, LINGPING 206 and NONGDA 108, were 4000-5000 seedlings/667m2 and 4500 seedlings/667m2,4000-5000 seedlings/667m2 and 5000 seedlings/667m2,4000-5000 seedlings/667m2 and 4000 seedlings/667m2,3000-4000 seedlings/667m2 and 3500 seedlings/667m2.
