The Varieties Selection And Establishment Of Appropriate Density High Yield And Quality Of Sweet Corn (Zea Mays L.) In Qinhuangdao

In this experiment,the sweet corn varieties of spring sowing and summer sowing were cultivated in Changli County of Qinhuangdao City were selected as the research materials.Two sowing dates were established in spring sowing(April 3rd)and summer sowing(July 3rd).Spring sowing and summer sowing with local varieties Jinfei,Huazhen was as a control to carry out the variety comparison test.Each of the9 varieties was chosen as the experimental material,and the product ratio test was carried out.Spring sowing varieties Jinfei and Jintian878 were selected to carry out density test(45000 plants/hm~2,52500 plants/hm~2,60000 plants/hm~2,67500plants/hm~2 were recorded as M1,M2,M3,M4,respectively).The effects of different planting densities on the yield of sweet corn were studied,and the soluble sugar content and trait indices of spring sowing and summer sowing were determined to provide the basis for the rational close planting and high yield of sweet corn.The results showed that:1.The maximum harvest time occurred at 18-21 day for sweet corn varieties,respectively,and during after grain filled stage.Under different density processing,grain soluble sugar content of different varieties showed that Jinfei was M3>M2>M4>M1 and Jintian878 was M1>M4>M2>M3.As the density increases,the different varieties of grain increased that Jinfei was M4>M3>M2>M1 and Jintian878 was M3>M4>M2>M1.Therefore,under the conditions of this study that the varieties Jinfei and Jintian878 of optimum plant density were 67500plant/hm~2 and60000plants/hm~2,and the optimum yield of ear weight including bract was 1902.82kg/667m~2 and 1621.85 kg/667m~2.2.With the sweet corn grain filled growth,the content of soluble sugar was “S”curve.The highest soluble sugar content was 21 day and 27 day for yellow sweet corn and yellow white sweet corn.The spring sowing sweet corn variety Chaotian1301 had excellent characteristics that 260.51 cm for plant height,97.40 cm for ear height2.73 cm for stem diameter,22.27 cm for ear length,4.87 cm for ear diameter,43 forrow number,476.11 g for single ear weight including bract.When the density was60000plant/hm~2,the yield was 1749.85 kg/667m~2.The soluble sugar content was11.94% that the yield of ear weight including bract was highest and the soluble sugar content was stable.The seed summer sweet corn variety Huangjinwanliang had274.67 cm for plant height,5.30 cm for ear diameter,when the density was67500plant/hm~2,the ear weight including bract was 1398.00 kg/667m~2.The different planting densities change of fresh weight and dry weight of spring and summer sowing sweet corn were increased and then decreased.
