Rice is one of the world’s most important food crops, currently about 50% of the world’s people with rice as the main food. Rice in China not only has a long history of cultivation, but also in food production also plays an important role. In China, rice plantings accounted for about 30% of all arable land. Its output accounts for more than 40% of all food crops production. One important reason is that rice male sterility and heterosis widely used.In this paper, Japonica male sterile line 451 A, maintainer line 451 B, 455 R restorer of research material to study the japonica male sterile line and maintainer line in the tillering and booting the lipid membrane peroxidation product malondialdehyde(MDA), superoxide dismutase(SOD), catalase(CAT) and peroxidase(POD) of dynamic changes. Also studied japonica CMS line 451 A and 451 B maintain the system during the development of pollen actin distribution, including the distribution of actin filaments within the cells of pollen, the pollen on the stigma of germination and pollen tube growth when microfilaments distribution. Through the study of Japonica male sterile material to obtain the following results:1.Rice vegetative stage of tillering stage sterile line leaves SOD, POD, CAT activity and MDA content showed abnormal, SOD activity is higher than the maintainer line CMS line, CAT activity but lower sterile line, suggesting that this anomaly CMS line leads to higher MDA content, but the change of MDA and three enzymes between CMS and the same trend line, so sterile line of membrane lipid peroxidation products accumulate more, while its normal metabolic system, with the the gradual accumulation of the damage may be a cause developmental stage after pollen abortion.2.Rice reproductive growth stages of booting stage by selecting pulvinus from labeling materials, measured SOD, POD, CAT activity and MDA content both in material selection panicle or in the blade material in the male sterile lines MDA content should be significantly higher than the maintainer line, and in which the third period- meiosis, MDA’s highest.
