The cervix is a vital organ for the female animals to maintain pregnancy and childbirth, and the mature success of labor induction is critical delivery to the smooth and length of the production process in terms of the cervix. Cervical ripening is decided by many cytokines and hormone regulation, it is a biochemical processes and inflammation. The uterine is an important reproductive organs of female animal, it is the place to breed fetus and plays an irreplaceable role in sperm migration, the nidation of the fertilized ovum, embryo, fetus growth and development and delivery process. The cervix contains fibroblasts, epithelial cells, endothelial cells, preadipocytes and adipocytes.Fibroblast is derived from the embryonic mesoderm, it’s a kind of the main cells of the connective tissue. It has ability to differentiate, and it participates in wound repair and the processes of osteogenesis and adipogenesis, in some conditions, the fiber cells and mesenchymal stem cells could be conversed to each other. As an endocrine organ, adipose tissue can also participate in the physiological and pathological process of the body. Preadipocytes or adipocytes can secrete cytokines and hormones, but our group found large lipid droplets in adipocytes in the cervix during labor goats. In the cervix of mice, the fat cells with large lipid droplets were also found in the presence of a large lipid droplets, we achieved certain results about the number, distributions and changes of lipid droplets in the cervix in mice, and we also did some corresponding researches.Initially, lipid droplets were considered as a mere particles used to store energy, this granules is similar to glycogen, it is a kind of "inertia" Intra-cellular substances. But with the further research on lipid droplet proteome, the researchers found that lipid droplets also is a complex, dynamic and vigorous activities of themultifunctional organelles. It can move along cytoskeletal movement of cells, and be able to work with other organelle interactions, it may play a very important role in signal transduction, membrane transport, storage and metabolism of lipid. Lipid droplets in a variety of tissue exist in the fat cells, liver cells, muscle cells and adrenocortical cells.In this experiment, we treated Kunming mice as the object of study and explored the affection of hormone to the lipid droplets in mice cervical tissue. We collected cervixes of adult mice after removal of the cervix and ovary injection of hormones(estradiol, progesterone, dexamethasone and mifepristone), then we made the frozen sections of the cervixes and oil red O staining; On the clean acquisition table, we collected the cervixs of mice and cultured them in DMEM medium with fetal bovine serum, and we added a certain concentration of hormone in the culture medium, we cultured cervixs in mediums of serum-free hormone-free, hormone-free and also we cultured cervixs in mediums of hormones with 10 nmol / L, 20 nmol / L, 40 nmol / L, 80 nmol / L, after that, we observed them via oil red O staining.The results showed: the positive rate of cervixs of moice with progesterone and dexamethasone is high, contrastively, the positive rate of cervixs of moice with mifepristone is low; the positive rate of uterine body of mice with ovaries and no hormone is highest, the results of other groups are consistent with the cervix. We can find that the number of lipid droplets in the cells cultured in the mediums with progesterone is higher than that in the cells cultured in the mediums with mifepristone, and we find the number of lipid droplets in the cells cultured in the mediums with dexamethasone is higher than that in the cells cultured in the mediums with mifepristone too. These results suggest that the progesterone with 10 nmol/L, 20 nmol/L, 40 nmol/L and dexamethasone can promote the formation of lipid droplets; The mifepristone inhibits the formation of lipid droplets; The estradiol with 20 nmol/L, 40 nmol/L, 80 nmol/L can promote the formation of lipid droplet, but the estradiol with 10 nmol/L has no obvious differences.
