Based on the analysis of the forest stands and structural characteristics of the evergreen broad-leaved forest in low quality and low benefit in Fujian Sanming Jiangle area, this paper has put forward some judging standards of the evergreen broad-leaved forest in low quality and low benefit, and evaluated the characteristics of site conditions of the low-quality and low-benefit forests, aiming to provide some references for the management technologies of the evergreen broad-leaved forest in low quality and low benefit.Firstly, by doing the sample plots survey of the status quo of the evergreen broad-leaved forest, dividing the restoration succession stages, and analyzing the stands’characteristics of the evergreen broad-leaved forest, this paper has worked out the stands’characteristics of the different succession stages of the evergreen broad-leaved forest in low quality and low benefit, and put forward the judging standards of the evergreen broad-leaved forest in low quality and low benefit. Secondly, through counting and analyzing by combining with site factors the of low-quality and low-benefit forests, this paper has worked out the main site factors that affect the forest stands, and then carried out the cluster analysis to make classification and evaluation of the low-quality and low-benefit forests. Finally, this paper has put forward four kinds of management technological measures according to the different types of low-quality and low-benefit forests, and made effect evaluation of different management technological measures by taking the evergreen broad-leaved forest in low quality and low benefit in Jiangle forest farm as the experiment and demonstration base. The main conclusions in this study are concluded as follows:(1) In different succession stages, there are certain changes in the species composition. Due to the serious human disturbance in the first succession stage, tree species are mainly Cunninghamia lancolala and Pinus massoniana lamb, and also Schima suprba, Altinga grlilipes, Liquidambar formosana that are chosen artificially to promote the natural restoration. During the middle and later succession stages, Tree species, including Castanopsis fargesii, Alniphyllim fortunei, Castanopsis sclerophylla.(2).With succession proceeding, the uniform angle index and the uniform angle index also increase gradually. In the management process, tree species mingling can be adjusted artificially to make the whole community more stable. By adopting measures, like replanting, splitting irrigation, and selection cutting, gathered forest stands can be adjusted to improve the trees’growing environment. In the second succession stage, big diameter trees appear which belong to the forest stand in the growth type. Management measures should be employed to increase the number of trees in 12-18 diameter grades. During the third succession stage, due attention should be paid to the cultivation of trees with big diameter.(3) The correlation analysis of the site factors of the low-quality and low-profit sample plots, the principal component analysis has shown that these fours indexes, including altitude, slope, slope direction and soil thickness, play a very important role. Two types of forest management, including the protection and management type and the intensive management type, the site conditions in low quality will employ the protection and management type, and four types of management methods, including comprehensive transformation management measures, replanting transformation management measures, tending transformation management measures and the cultivation of target trees management measures, are applied in the evergreen broad-leaved forests in low quality and low benefit in Jiangle forest farm, providing practical advice for the management of the evergreen broad-leaved forests in low quality and low benefit. Schima suprba and Michelia macclurei are taken as the target trees speces in the management of target trees, of which the target diameter is 50cm.
