Research On The Cause And Carrying Capacity Of Guanshan Grassland

The grassland is an important ecological and economic resource, adequate andreasonable of use, human beings can get considerable economic benefits. The Guanshan Grassland were rich in resources, but for a long time, due to the combination of natural factors and human factors, its degradation was serious, ecological environment worsening, which severely affected the development of farmers’ income levels and the improvement of its animal husbandry. Therefore, scientific evaluation of various factors on the impact of grassland degradation and reasonable strategy to curb grassland degradation to promote the sustainable use of grassland resources were great significant.In this study, we learned about the basic generalization of grassland resource in Guanshan Grassland and its grassland types, distribution and other characteristics, through field-finding investigation and information search. The forming and degradation mechanism of this grassland, and its factors are analyzed. According to degradation degree, the grassland was divided into parts(restrictive operating reserve pastoral areas and open, half open round of pastoral areas). In terms of its ecological condition, we calculated the real grazing capacity and compared with its theoretical value. Moreover, measures for restoration project and sustainable development of degraded grassland were proposed, and provided a theory basis.According to the results of the research and summary of the experience and lessons of grassland restoration steps, we put forward some suggestions to sustainable utilization of grassland. Only to realize the population growth and economic development harmony with grassland environment, rational utilization of grassland, healthy development, it could ensure that to be an important survival and animal husbandry base for locals, and promoted the social, economic and environmental development of Guanshan Grassland.
