Taihang mountains in Hebei province with a total area of 31210 km2, lies between east longitude 113 ° 26 ’~ 115 ° 48’ and north latitude 36 °13’ ~ 39 ° 53’, north from the Juma river, south to the Zhang river, winding 360 kilometers, which has special geographical location, abundant solar-thermal resources, rich agricultural resources, In terms of agricultural production, there is huge development potential. But now grain and oil crops of the region layout fuzzy, planting structure optimization is not obvious, planting is scattered and other problems, which have limited the development of grain and oil industry in Taihang mountains. This study applies GIS software, draws the accumulated temperature of Taihang mountain in Hebei province, light,frost-free period, floor temperature, precipitation, altitude, slope, soil texture, soil layer thickness, soil erosion,organic matter, total nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, probability of irrigation, the 15 thematic maps of ecological element.And on this basis, according to the principle of geographic information, Integrated applying hierarchical analysis, methods of expert consultation and other methods, ultimately determines corn, peanut, soybean, yams,millet, the five kinds of grain and oil crops planting area in Taihang mountains in Hebei province and its suitability planting evaluation results, the results are as follows:1) The early, middle and late of corn varieties, the ratio of the planting area and the total area of this region is between 71.3% ~ 74.3%.Among them, the ratio of the most suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 21.9% and 28.6%;the ratio of suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 25.8% and 39.0%; the ratio of more suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 6.7% and23.6%.2) The early, middle and late of peanut varieties, the ratio of the planting area and the total area of this region is between 72.0% and 76.5%.Among them, the ratio of the most suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 20.1% and 34.1%;the ratio of suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 15.9% and32.6%; the ratio of more suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between9.8% and 36.0%.3) The early, middle and late of Foxtail millet varieties, the ratio of the planting area and the total area of this region is between 69.2% and 76.5%.Among them, the ratio of the most suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 20.5% and35.9%;the ratio of suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between38.9% and 41.8%; the ratio of more suitable planting area and the total area of this region is about 10%..4) The early, middle and late of sweet potato varieties, the ratio of the planting area and the total area of this region is between 70.1% and 74.3%.Among them, the ratio of the most suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 19.0% and35.2%;the ratio of suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between24.4% and 38.7%; the ratio of more suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 0.4% and 26.7%.5) The early, middle and late of Soybean varieties, the ratio of the planting area and the total area of this region is between 70.7% and 76.5%.Among them, the ratio of the most suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 12.0% and 25.6%;the ratio of suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between 33.1% and41.5%; the ratio of more suitable planting area and the total area of this region is between9.4% and 31.2%.Through the above research, achieved a variety of agricultural resources digitization management, query and utilization of the area, and promoted grain and oil crops of the Taihang mountain in Hebei province planting structure optimization, which provide a basis for the rational development of grain and oil crops for the area.
