Correlation analysis on LOX activity was carried out between F2 and F2:3 family group of Lumai22/Yangmai9 and also, based on the concept of Genetic analysis of segregation generation, we accumulated the data of segregation populations (F2 and F2:3 family group) to estimate the genetic system of LOX activity, meanwhile, using the major genes plus polygenes to carry out segregation analysis of F2:3 family group on carotenoid content; we selected 10 wheat cultivars and sown in four locations in Anhui Province to look into the effects of genotype and environment on lipoxygenase activity and carotenoid content of wheat; 122 wheat varieties from different places were used to analyse the correlation of carotenoid content of 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 year. And also, we made cluster analysis on the LOX activity and carotenoid content of 2011-2012year, and the result showed that:1. Correlation analysis on LOX activity of F2 and F2:3 family group was investigated of Lumai22/Yangmai9 and it turned out that they were significantly correlated with each other (R2=0.714). The LOX activities of the combination was controlled by two major genes, and they had additive+dominant+ epistatic effects. For F2 and F2:3 family group, the major gene inheritability was 81.9% and 90.0%, respectively. The effect of the first gene is bigger than the second gene, both of the two major genes showed dominant-negative effect.2. For the carotenoid content of 244 F2:3 family group, the phenotype distribution presents proportion greater than 3:1. And the further genetic analysis showed that the carotenoid content controned by one major gene and the inheritability was 55.35%, and the major gene showed overdominant-negative effect.3. We selected 10 wheat cultivars and sown in four locations in Anhui Province to look into the effects of genotype and environment on lipoxygenase activity and carotenoid content of wheat. It turned out that, for LOX activity, genotype and environment all had highly significant influence on it, and the genotypic effect played main role compared with genotype × environment interactions and the environment. For carotenoid content, also the difference of genotype and environment all had highly significant influence, while the effect of the environment is greater than genotypic effect and the genotype × environment interactions, which is the last one.4. The analysis of carotenoid content showed the the correlation of 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 year reached the great significant level, and the differences between 122 varieties also reached the great significant level. Four highest varieties and four lowest ones were selected out.5. Cluster analysis on the LOX activity and carotenoid content of 2011-2012 year, and the 122 varieties could be clustered into 5 major groups.the differences of areas on either LOX activity or carotenoid content reached great significant level.
