In recent years, the Internet of things technology gradually penetrated into various fields. The wireless sensor networks need to set up differently fot the different application scenarios of the Agriculture Internet of Things. In order to solve the different performance requirements of the overall deployment of the wireless sensor networks. By using OMNeT++, an IoT (internet of things) simulation platform is built in a master-slave heterogeneous network with GPRS and WLAN networking protocol. In this network model, the master node sensor network at the same time as the LAN gateway. The relationship between network delay, rate of delivery and number of nodes, packet length is studied through simulation, in order to make a global arrangement according to the requirements of network performance before building a sensor network. This paper uses programs to design and research the agricultural IOT network structure. The main work and contributions include:(1) This paper studies the IoT overall architecture. We design a wan-layered network architecture, sensor network including sensor network using master-slave node model. This network structure, the sensor network master node at the same time as the role of the local area network gateway. The data directly sent to the server system by the master node through the wan.(2) The integration of sensor network and GPRS/WLAN network protocol remote coverage, and support the data after the main node can carry on the vertical in two kinds of network switch. Through different scenarios simulation performance test and parameter configuration, requirements the overall deployment implementation of large-scale sensor network structures.(3) In view of the structure of the Internet of things is put forward in this paper, as well as the large-scale deployment of master-slave type sensor network load, communication in the process of quality problem, through the network simulation software OMNeT++ simulated performance testing. Of master-slave type sensor network node and WCDMA/GRPS base stations and relevant agreement in OMNeT++ within the framework of the model. Simulation research the network delay, throughput and node number, and deployment of relation curve way.
