According to the correlation theory of quantitative genetics and selective breeding,the research of this article adopted the method of family selection and mass selection for the new Argopecten irradians concentricus lines F6 generation for further breeding.Choosed the individuals with excellent triaits as parents from the population of new Argopecten irradians concentricus lines F6 generation to establishe 30 self-fertifization families and 1breeding group(with 50 parents).With the self-fertifization families and the breeding group,we compared d and analyzed the survival rate, growth rate and the Kung breeding values for different self-fertifization families during larval stage and growthout,besides,we also studied the effect of the new lines with mass selection. Furthermore,the research introduced the juveniles of the new Argopecten irradians concentricus lines F7 generation to breeding in the Beibu Gulf Guangxi Province for the first time.The breeding location was Beihai, Qinzhou and Fangchenggang.We determined the survival rate and growth rate of the new line and normal line during the the juveniles breeding and growthout.Moreover,we also set up the fourth breeding location—Jianghong Town,Zhanjiang City to compare the breeding effect of new line and normal line with the same juveniles in different breeding location.The results were as follows:1. To the 30 self-fertifization families during the larval stage,the families with the maximum of the cumulative survival rate were F6,F1,F9,F25,F17 and F12,and the dates respectively were 57.82%,54.72%,53.40%,52.72%,51.61% and 51.21%.The families with the largest growth rate of shell length and shell height were F16,F6,F1,F20,F12 and F25.The shell length growth rate respectively was 10.23μm.d-1,10.18μm.d-1, 9.74μm.d-1, 9.53μm.d-1,9.44μm.d-1and 8.99μm.d-1.The shell height growth rate respectively was 10.06μm.d-1,9.87μm.d-1,9.53μm.d-1,9.50μm.d-1,9.47μm.d-1and 9.45μm.d-1.2. To the 30 self-fertifization families during the growthout,the families with the maximum of the cumulative survival rate were F16,F6,F25,F12,F1 and F9,and the dates respectively were 54.90%,51.61%,50.25%,49.67%,47.35% and 46.43%. The families with the largest growth rate of shell length were F9,F6,F16,F25,F1 and F12, and the dates respectively were 257.33μm.d-1,253.11μm.d-1,247.11μm.d-1,240.44μm.d-1,234.00μm.d-1and 178.67μm.d-1.The families with the largest growth rate of shell height were F9,F6,F16,F1,F12 and F25,and the dates respectively were 252.00μm.d-1,247.78μm.d-1,240.89μm.d-1,236.00μm.d-1,233.33μm.d-1 and 229.33μm.d-1. The families with the largest growth rate of shell width were F16,F9,F6,F25,F1 å'Œ F12,and the dates respectively were126.24μm.d-1,125.78μm.d-1,124.84μm.d-1,124.07μm.d-1,121.13μm.d-1 and 121.00μm.d-1,The families with the largest growth rate of body weight were F9,F6,F16,F1,F12 and F25,and the dates respectively were 156.25 mg.d-1,155.61 mg.d-1,147.44 mg.d-1,145.44 mg.d-1,142.5mg.d-1 and 142.33 mg.d-1.3. To the Kung breeding values of traits for families in march,the families with the highest Kung breeding values of survival rate were F25,F1,F16,F6,F12 and F19,and the dates respectively were 92.15%,91.55%,91.42%,91.26%,90.99% and 90.43%.The families with the highest Kung breeding values of shell length were F9,F6,F16,F25,F1 and F12,and the dates respectively were 52.73,52.33,51.57,50.30,50.03 and 49.53. The families with the highest Kung breeding values of shell height were F9,F6,F16,F1,F25 and F12,and the dates respectively were 50.87,50.40,49.57,48.53,48.17 and 48.13. The families with the highest Kung breeding values of shell width were F16,F9,F25,F6,F1 and F12,and the dates respectively were 23.17,23.08,22.99,22.47 and 22.42. The families with the highest Kung breeding values of body weight were F9,F6,F16,F12,F25 and F1,and the dates respectively were 20.94,20.92,19.88,19.29,19.27 and 19.26.4. To the effect of the new Argopecten irradians concentricus line F6 generation with mass selection,during the larval stage, the cumulative survival rate,shell length and shell height growth rate of three groups all were in order:the group of new line with mass selection>the group of new line>the group of normal line. The cumulative survival rate of three groups respectively were 64.82%,56.51% and 49.80%.Shell length growth rate of three groups respectively were 10.66μm.d-1,9.69μm.d-1and 9.17μm.d-1.Shell height growth rate of three groups s respectively were 9.88μm.d-1,9.17μm.d-1 å'Œ 8.68μm.d-1.During the growthout,the cumulative survival rate and all economic characters growth rate of three groups all were in order:the group of new line with mass selection>the group of new line>the group of normal line.The cumulative survival rate of three groups respectively were 52.09%,46.29% and 39.15%.Shell length growth rate of three groups respectively were 165.07μm.d-1,142.13μm.d-1and 137.01μm.d-1.Shell height growth rate of three groups respectively were 157.13μm.d-1,138.73μm.d-1 and 134.67μm.d-1.Shell width growth rate of three groups respectively were 80.33μm.d-1,74.67μm.d-1 and 68.33μm.d-1.Body weight growth rate of three groups respectively were 105.93 mg.d-1,86.20 mg.d-1and 60.33 mg.d-1.5. To the result of introducing the juveniles of the new Argopecten irradians concentricus lines F7 generation to breeding in the Beibu Gulf Guangxi Province for the first time,during juveniles cultivation process,new line had obvious advantages in thesurvival rate,the shell length and height growth compared to normal line.During the growthout,there was significant difference of the cumulative survival rate and all economic characters growth rate between the new line and normal line in 4 breeding locations(P<0.05). The cumulative survival rate of new line and normal line that cultured in 4different locations all were in order:Beihai>Fangchenggang>Qinzhou>Jianghong. The cumulative survival rate of new line respectively was 54.50%,53.75%,50.54% and48.42%,and the normal line was 42.47%,41.53%,40.85% and37.70%.Shell length growth rate of new line in 4 breeding locations was in order:Beihai>Jianghong>Qinzhou>Fangchenggang, and the dates respectively were 230.33μm.d-1,225.20μm.d-1,155.80μm.d-1and 140.07μm.d-1.Shell length growth rate of normal line in 4 breeding locations was in order:Beihai>Jianghong>Fangchenggang>Qinzhou,and the dates respectively were200.47μm.d-1,196.00μm.d-1,135.73μm.d-1and 135.20μm.d-1.Shell height growth rate of new line and normal line in 4 breeding locations was in order:Beihai>Jianghong>Qinzhou>Fangchenggang,and the dates of new line respectively were 229.00μm.d-1,218.73μm.d-1,145.00μm.d-1and 134.80μm.d-1,and the normal line was 196.00μm.d-1,193.27μm.d-1,130.07μm.d-1 and 128.00μm.d-1.Shell width growth rate of new line and normal line in 4 breeding locations was in order:Beihai>Jianghong>Qinzhou>Fangchenggang,and the dates of new line respectively were 116.13μm.d-1,110.20μm.d-1,84.33μm.d-1 and 76.93μm.d-1,and the normal line was 98.47μm.d-1,96.80μm.d-1,70.87μm.d-1 and 69.23μm.d-1.Body weight growth rate of new line in 4 breeding locations was in order:Beihai>Jianghong>Qinzhou>Fangchenggang,and the dates of new line respectively were 137.73 mg.d-1,130.27 mg.d-1,105.87 mg.d-1 and 104.40 mg.d-1.Body weight growth rate of normal line in 4 breeding locations was in order:Beihai>Jianghong>Fangchenggang>Qinzhou,and the dates of new line respectively were 102.67 mg.d-1,96.33 mg.d-1,92.23 mg.d-1 and 90.23 mg.d-1.
