Forests are the largest terrestrial ecosystem carbon repository, has an important role in regulating the global carbon balance, reduce atmospheric CO2 concentration and maintenance of regional ecological environment and so on. The research of forest biomass and carbon reserves become a focus in the study of the global carbon cycle, also the research is the focus of forest management. This study combines forest resource survey data of Kuduer Bureau, analyze the current situation of forest resources in the area, and put the region’s major species Larix gmelini, Betula platyphlla and Populus davidiana as the research object. Through setting sample plot, supplementary investigation of forest biomass, carbon and carbon sequestration value estimate.The research results are as follows:1, Through the analysis of forest resources survey results about the Kuduer Bureau, analysis of forest resource status of Kuduer Bureau. Determine the main forest types are ecological public welfare forest. Analyze the research various types of land area, stock volume analysis, forest classification, forest origin and accumulation of various types of forest area, forest structure, species composition, age group structure and other information, Among them, the forestland area of 428700 hm2, accounting for 88.0% of the forest land area; Origin of arbor trees mainly for natural forest, accounted for 81.05%; Tree species composition, utilize modern larch and birch, aspen ratio reached 52.10%,52.10% and 52.10% respectively. As a result, identified the main forest vegetation of the study area as a dominant species are Larix gmelini, Betula platyphlla and Populus davidiana.2, According to Larix gmelini, Betula platyphlla and Populus davidiana stands of trees of each layer, shrub layer, herb layer, litter layer, soil layer of biomass and carbon density estimate the corresponding levels of carbon storage in the three forest stands, tree layer carbon reserves were:2.32E+07t,7.08E+06t,6.00E+05 t; total carbon storage in forest floor and litter layer were 5.31E+05t,3.69E+05t,3.63E+04t; layer of soil carbon reserves were 4.53E+07t,3.08E+07t,1.80E+06t. total carbon reserves of 1.10E+08t. Each stand total carbon were 6.90E+07t、 3.82E+07t、2.43E+06t。3, The estimated dollar value of carbon about Larix gmelini, Betula platyphlla and Populus davidiana was 5.15E+11 yuan. Where the value of carbon about Larix gmelini was 3.24E+11 yuan, sequestration contribution was 62.9%, Betula platyphll was 1.80E+11 yuan. sequestration contribution was 34.9%, the value of carbon about Populus davidiana was 1.14E+10 yuan, sequestration contribution was 2.2%.
