To get useful materials for high P efficiency oat breeding to cultivate the crop genotypes with high phosphorus use efficiency and to improve phosphorus use efficiency and save phosphate resources. Based on hydroponic sieve screening, soil culture validation and field planting appraisement, this study evaluates 50 genetic variants of oats phosphorus nutrition efficiency, and the main results are as follows:(1) This study adopts the method of solution culture and analyses biomass and phosphorus nutrition of oats varieties affected by different phosphorus concentrations. It has been clear about concentration of phosphorus being lower than 0.01mmol/L will be treated as the low phosphorus situation in the hydroponic screening of oat genotypes with resistance to low phosphorus.(2) There were obvious differences in phosphorus efficiency of different oat cultivars. The plant biomass under lack P deficiency condition is distinctly lower than that under normal condition. And the root/shoot ratio of different oat cultivars increase under plack condition compared to their controls, respectively.According to the index of the average of relative P use difficiency cultivars 925, (?), V7,Wuming 25,W85,Mengyan7202, Jia 5,V22,SvalΦf03410,Caoyou 1,Wenquan Oat,Yanke 1,833,ULTIMA,Taifeng,Baiyan 5 and thirteen low phosphorus efficiency cultivars Onyllian,MARION,Youmai 4400,Big Oat,Jinyan 2004,Mengnongdayan 1,Baiyan 4,6518,Jia 9,Jia 3.Bayou 8,V18 and Jian19 were selected.(3) In pot experiment under low phosphorus stress, the coefficient of variation (CV) of the plant biomass, phosphorus content and plosphorus use efficiency are 5.2%,30.8% and 66.0%. In addition to the phosp(?) content being less than normal phosphorus level which is 9.1%,30.2% and 73.3%, this study shows that low phosphorus stress will increase the differences between different genotypes. At the same time, it also tells us that the ability of resisting low phosphorus of different oat genotypes has distinguished differences with the genetic basis of genetic improvement. After clustering analysis of different relative phosphorus use efficiency of oat varieties, screened varieties of relatively high phosphorus use efficiency are Baiyan 5,Bailingdang Oat,925,V1,V7,Mengnongdayan 2,Big Oat,Jia6,Bayou 1,Yanke 1,Mengyan 8498,Jinyan 2004,Taifeng,Jian 19,YS0404,Baiyan 2 and 6518 while relatively low phosphorus use efficiency varieties are Youmai 4400,W85,Baiyan 4,Wuming 25,Xiayoumai,Jia3,Caoyou 1,Mengnongdayan 1 and Jia 10.(4) In field planting appraisement of experiment, under the same condition of phosphorus stress, the production is impacted differently on different genotypes of oat varieties. The relatively high yield varieties in field experiment are SvalOf03410,Yanke 1, Onyllian, 6518,925, Jia 10,(?),W85,Mengyan 7202,Baiyan 5,V7 and Bayou 8 while relatively low yield varieties are Baoluo,Bailingdang Oat,Caoyou 1,ULTIMA,Jia 9,V22,CAPTTAL,Mengyan 8498,Jia 6,Jinyan 2004,Jian 19,6583 and Youmai 4400.(5) Based on the above, Yanke 1,925, Baiyan Sand V7 four oats varieties (or lines) are phosphorus efficient genotypes and oats varieties (or lines) Youmai 4400 is phosphorus inefficient genotypes.
