The Study On The Expression Of Vimentin In Hair Follicle Growth Cycle Of Inner Mongolia Cashmere Goat

vimentin is a very important cytoskeletal protein, and it plays an important role duiring the proceed of cell reformartion, cell maintainance, information transformation and cell apoptosis. The objection of this study was in order to understand the mechanism action of vimentin in hair follicle growth, the experimental method of this study mainly included western blot, real-time PCR and immunohistochemistry, and the expression level of vimentin and VIM gene was determined by western blot and real-time PCR; the expression portion was checked by immunohistochemistry. The results showed as follow:(1) The result of western blot and RT-PCR showed that the relative expression level of vimentin was higher in anagen; and the lowest in the period of telogen. Indicated that the vimentin may play an important rloe in the process of hair follicle growth cycle.(2) The result of immunohistochemistry showed that the expression site of vimentin was mainly in the outer root sheath, and the expression level in each stage were much the same with the result of western blot and RT-PCR. It indicated that vimentin may have some function during the hair follicle growth cycle through influence the outer root sheath.
