This test use the KWS7156 sugar beet as experimental material,to study the field experiment density when reasonable planted and the NPK applying contention,which use the orthogonal experiment design method at dry place in Liang Cheng county of Inner Mongolia in 2014. Research the influence of different planting density and NPK content on beet growth, photosynthesis and water metabolism, NPK elements absorption and distribution, yield and quality. Determine the optimum planting density and fertilizer use, which make sure the dry farming beets can get high productivity and provide a scientific basis for dry farming beet with high yield and high sugar contention. The test results are following:1. Reasonable planting density and NPK, applying contention may increase the sugar beet production significantly. Sugar beet yield of optimal treatment combination for the density of 100000 plants/hm2, N applying contention 322.35 kg/hm2+,P applying contention 231.90kg/hm2+,K applying contention 168.00kg/hm2. Sugar yield the optimal combined treatment under the condition of test for density of 100000 plants/hm2, N applying contention 322.35 kg/hm2+,P applying contention 277.80kg/hm2+,K applying contention 201.75 kg/hm2.Among the four factors, the effect to the rainfed sugar beet yield have different degree. Planting density have a highest influence, nitrogen applying contention comes second and the phosphorus applying contention make a least affect. Sugar content of optimal treatment combination for the density of 100000 plants/hm2, N applying contention 215.31 kg/hm2+,P applying contention 185.55kg/hm2+,K applying contention 134.25kg/hm2. K applying contention make a highest effect on increasing dry farming beet sugar, the second is planting density, and the least influence come from phosphorus applying contention.2. Four factors influence on rainfed beet root-shoot ratio achieves very significant level, with the decline of density and nitrogen application rate increased; root-shoot ratio reaches a maximum when the amount of phosphorus, and potassium is 231.90 kg/hm2and168.00 kg/hm2,3. There is a benefit on Leaf area index of group indicators and the increasing of photosynthetic intensity when the planting density is 100000 plants/hm2.All the photosynthetic physiological indexes of beet,for example, leaf area index, net photosynthetic rate, SPAD and leaf area duration can reach the maximum, when the N application at high level.4. Water use efficiency increased with the increase of density and nitrogen application rate increased; With the increase of amount of potassium application performance increase after first; and have no significant influence with the phosphorus application.5. With the increase of density, plant NPK uptake accumulation decreased, the big of density group absorption accumulation is greater than the small of density groups absorption accumulation; NPK fertilizer have mutually promote absorption effect.
