In this paper, mechanized harvesting peppers injury problems to be solved are currently produced inXinjiang, picking peppers studied the mechanism of injury, and the bench analysis. Provide theoreticalbasis and reference for chili harvester experimental design optimization, has very important significance.This paper studies on the mechanical harvesting of pepper damage, mainly from the following aspects:Simple determination of the main physical characteristics associated with the test plate pepper fruit,pepper fruit on the mechanical properties were studied, obtained its ultimate stress under differentmoisture content, elastic modulus and strain; further drawn pepper fruits moisture content of about40%for the best picking time.
