Research On Key Technologies Of Embedded Wireless Video Sensor Networks For Stored Grain Pests Detection

Food safety is related to the development of national economy and socialstability．Grain storage safety is the key emphasis in work to realize the foodsafety．The grain storage safety is a worldwide difficult problem．According to theFood and Agriculture United Nations investigation and statistics，every year aroundthe world grain loss by mildew and insect pest yield of5%．In order to reduce thelosses which caused by the pests in the process of storage，we must develop ascientific，practical，accurate and convenient stored-grain pests automatic detectionsystem．The automatic detection system can provide the species，density anddistribution information of the pests accurately，to provide scientific basis for theprevention and control of the pests．The monitoring process in the bulk grain depot is complex，heavy workload，the accuracy is not high，not automatic and so on．Designing an embedded wirelessvideo sensor grain-worm monitoring network based on the wireless sensor networktechnology to avoid the problems above．The video sensor nodes (image acquisitionnodes) of the monitoring network transfer the image of the insects to the insectimage recognition system through wireless network．In accordance with the status monitoring process is complex，workload is big，accuracy is low and it is not automation，this paper designs an embedded wirelessvideo sensor Grain-worm monitor networks．The nodes of the monitor networkswill be buried in the bulk grain depot．The node will be made up of a miniaturecamera，wireless transceiver，LED，trapping device，battery and so on．The nodestake pictures of the stored grain pests regular or according to instructions andtransmit the pictures to the control center through wireless．Finally，the images ofthe insect were presented on the screen．The monitor networks can monitor thegrain insect numbers and types real-time．Realize the automatic detection of thepests in stored grain and provide the image information sources for imagerecognition technology．...
