There are a lot of National Grain Reserve Storage in our country. In order to accuratelygrasp the amount of stored grain, so that accounts match the reality, the national foodauthorities made stockpile inventory works for every year at all levels, and storage density ofbulk grain is the key factor to determine the correctness of stock quantity calculation.In this paper, we combined method of experiment, computer simulation analysis andmathematical statistics, to study the storage density variation and its determination methodsystematiclly, in order to provide the technical basis for the national grain stockpile inventorywork.First, through homemade plexiglass-silo and simulation warehouse experimentstest,systematic study the impact of height, storage time, mechanical ventilation and ambientvibration to the process of stratification loading grain and Simulated storage.Second, based onfield test experience,build silo model similar to plexiglass-silo with PFC3D, generate particlelayer by layer, volume and density changes were monitored Continuously. Finally, analysisthe date of two central grain reserves,study of the variation of the storage density and thestorage height and time.This paper explores the change rules of grain storage density when loading and undernormal storage conditions,believe storage time and pile height is the main factors thataffecting grain grain storage density. Initially got the calculation formula of settlement dailyvalue of grain surfaces and grain density-time correction factorest.This article could providestheoretical support for grain density studies, and provides a reference for bulk materialsresearch.
