Land is the basic element of bringing up lives, only healthy land can createhealthy life. In the process of social development, for the pursuit of economic goals, people make predatory development on the land which has influence the condition ofland health. Keeping the condition of land health has a vital role on the sustainableuse of land resources. Black soil region in Jilin is the major grain producing areas ofour country whose condition of land health has an integral role in ensuring the safetyof our food.Based on the related theory research, we regard the land of Jilin as the researchobject, at the same time, we evaluate the condition of land health. First, the concept ofland health and land health related research methods are detailed in the paper.Sixty-two samples are collected in the study area, and among them, there are fifteensamples in Yu shu-Song yuan region, twenty-seven samples in Gong zhu ling-Li shuregion and twenty samples in Jiu tai-De hui region. According to the result of analysis, the geochemical characteristics of nutrient elements and heavy metal elements in thesurface land and the geochemical characteristics of nutrient elements and heavy metalelements in the crops are analyzed. Based on the elements’ geochemicalcharacteristics, we choose the land pH、available K、the exchangeable calcium、theexchangeable magnesium and the trace elements as the contestant indexes to evaluatethe land fertility condition by the comprehensive index method; We choose As、Cd、 Cr、Cu、Ni and Zn as the contestant indexes to evaluate the land environment quality. On the basis of 《Land environment quality standards》and《Green food producingarea environmental quality assessment program》, we evaluate the land environmentquality by the comprehensive pollution index method; We choose As、Cd、Cr、Cu、Ni and Zn in the crop as the contestant indexes to evaluate the crop security situation,we evaluate the crop security situation by the comprehensive index method.According to the evaluation results, we choose indexes from the land fertility、the landenvironment quality and the crop heavy metal pollution to build the black soil landhealth evaluation index system. The system include ten indexes, they are the land pH、available B、available Zn、available Mo、available As、available Cd、available Cr、available Cu、available Ni and Ni in the corn seeds. We evaluate the land healthcondition of Jilin black soil area by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Wecan get the following conclusions:(1)By the evaluation of land fertility condition, we can know that the order of theland fertility are Yu shu-Song yuan region,Gong zhu ling-Li shu region and Jiu tai-Dehui region. The land fertility condition is restricted by trace elements, especially theavailable B and available Mo. The reason why the land fertility condition in Jiu tai-Dehui region are lower than the other two areas is that available Zn is in low level.(2) By the evaluation of land environment quality, we can know that the landenvironment quality has been affected by human activities, in recent years the heavymetals have a tendency to increase. But human activities have not affected the landenvironment quality, the land environment quality is very good, and it is in the firstlevel.(3) By the evaluation of heavy mental pollution of crops, we can know that allthe heavy mental elements’ contents in corn seeds are in the limited range, corn seedsare not polluted by the heavy mental elements.(4) By the evaluation of land health, we can know that the condition of the landin Yu shu-Song yuan region, Gong zhu ling-Li shu region and Jiu tai-De hui regionare healthy and there is space in improving the healthy level. The order of healthylevel is Jiu tai-De hui region, Yu shu-Song yuan region and Gong zhu ling-Li shu region.
